March 5, 2026 Mitchell comeback gives Mariners first win In their third game, Mitchell broke into the win column with a comeback win over UMass-Boston. Heading south, it was Shenandoah defeating Messiah for their 11th win without a loss.
February 9, 2026 Region 1 Preview Over the last five years more teams in Region 1 are making the playoffs than just 10 years ago. This is due to the rise in several programs, most notably Middlebury and Salve Regina.
May 2, 2025 Top seeds in GNAC pound opposition Johnson and Wales along with Mitchell scored 20 or more runs, limiting their opponents to single digits in the opening day of the GNAC tournament. St. Joseph's (Conn) won by a narrower margin and Rivier upset Lasell in other GNAC action.
March 20, 2025 Teams make statements with top 25 upsets Mitchell has not had much success against No. 5 Salve Regina in the past but did have it today as they upset the Seahawks. Amherst also found a win over No. 18 Babson with MIAC teams St. John's (Minn.) and St. Olaf joining the party as well.
April 22, 2024 Tough to be perfect....in conference Mitchell stayed perfect in the GNAC and has never lost a GNAC conference game having joined the GNAC this year. The Mariners are just one of three teams who enter this week without a loss in conference play. UMass-Dartmouth and Penn State-Harrisburg also have no conference losses.
February 19, 2024 Region 1 Preview No. 2 Salve Regina comes into 2025 with a lot of promise.The Seahawks are not the only team that is counting on continuing their recent success. Mitchell has been the top team in the GNAC and that is expected to continue.
