Mike Victory has been hired as the new head baseball coach at Hood. Victory arrives after five seasons at the helm of Brevard College in the USA South conference with an 81-84 career record.
Waynesburg school officials announced the hiring of Michael Impellittiere as head coach of the Waynesburg. Impellittiere spent the last seven seasons as the head coach of Hood where he is the Blazers' winningest coach in program history with a 129-112-1 record.

Colby Childs started the second game and pitched a smooth four scoreless innings for the Blazers. He used his defense behind him allowing one hit, four walks and two strikeouts. He would get the game two win. Jack Martin followed right where Childs left off, throwing three scoreless innings, giving up only two hits while striking out seven.
Jordan Patterson was spot on for Hood as he pitched the Blazers past Albright into the MACC weekend tournament. They advance to face York, the regular season champions starting Saturday.
