Misericordia got a quick start and rolled to a 9-4 win over SUNY Maritime with the top of the order producing all eight RBIs registered on the day. The first four Cougars reached and eventually scored before Maritime could end the first inning. Maritime was defeated by Hilbert 13-4 earlier in the day.
Senior catcher Mike Miraglia's 100th career hit, a game-tying single in the top of the eighth, helped Drew erase an early 6-0 deficit and beat Penn State Behrend, 8-7, in the Rangers' final game at the Florida Gulf Coast Spring Training.
Emerson bats exploded in the final doubleheader of its spring trip as they locked up a sweep over the Wentworth Leopards. The Lions registered a four-run fifth inning to grab the 4-3 comeback win in the first game. In the second game, Emerson grabbed the 8-2 win to finish out the day. Mitch Moormann led all Emerson batters on the day with four hits in the two game set.
Michael Netzel went 2 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs, and Dean Abramson kept up his outstanding work out of the bullpen, leading Occidental to a 7-3 win over Schreiner in a non-conference game at Anderson Field. The Tigers have won five in a row and now stand at 11-5.
Cornell jumped out to a three-run lead and held off St. Scholastica's ninth-inning rally to win 8-6 Saturday morning at the Russmatt Invitational. The Rams entered the ninth inning with a six run lead and saw most of that evaporate before getting a groundout to end the threat.
Guilford's Eric Yost struck out seven in game one of a doubleheader while John Todd struck out nine in a complete-game effort as the Quakers earned a sweep of Muhlenberg. The Quakers took game one, 11-1, and the nightcap, 5-4, both in seven-inning contests.
Catholic spoiled Rutgers-Newark opener of their Spring Break trip to South Carolina with a 5-1 win for their tenth win of the year. Sophomore hurler Jon Mierzwa was the story of the game, striking out 15 over seven innings to earn the win for the Cardinals. He scattered three hits and allowed just one earned run.
King's (Pa.) exploded for 14 runs in the second game of a doubleheader with Gordon at McKeel Academy of Technology in Lakeland, Florida. The Scots won the opener 4-3 on a walk-off grand slam. Gordon was held scoreless until their final at-bat as Alec Willey connected on the second pitch his saw and knocked it over the right field fence for a walk-off home run, turning 3-0 shutout into a 4-3 walkoff win.
Five unanswered runs nipped a 4-0 deficit after two innings and helped Dallas walk-off 5-4 against Texas Lutheran. The Crusaders knotted the game in the 7th and scored the winning run on a wild pitch (3rd of the inning) to start SCAC play 1-0 for the first time since their inaugural season in 2012. Despite weather at first pitch showing nice skies, as the game progressed cloud cover increased and rain came down throughout the latter stages of the contest, forcing the schedule second game to Sunday.
Senior Nick Comei and sophomore Ryan Tropeano each collected three hits in game two as WPI split a pair of games with Ohio Northern at the RussMatt Invitational. The WPI squad fell 2-1 in the opener and took the second 9-3. The Engineers, who return to New England with a 6-4 ledger, are scheduled to face Brandeis Wednesday in Waltham.

The Gents score 21 runs in 16 innings on the day to complete a sweep of Austin.

Centenary (La.) played a closer game than they are used to in the series finale with Austin, but the Maroon and White never trailed in 16 innings on the day as Centenary swept a doubleheader with a 12-0 win (seven innings) in game one and 9-6 in game two against Austin. The Gents took advantage of seven Austin College errors for 10 unearned runs on the day. Centenary also touched them all for three times on the day and now has 18 home runs for the season – 10 more than the second-place school (Dallas) in the SCAC.
Wheaton (Ill.) concluded a successful spring trip with a 9-1 victory over John Carroll. Wheaton finishes the trip riding a five-game winning streak and holding a 7-3 overall record. Peter Newman led the Thunder offense with three hits and three RBIs. John McKenna added two runs driven in.
Berry split with Centre with the the Vikings losing game one 3-0 then taking a 7-3 victory in game two. Trevor Brewer baffled the Viking batters in game one before handing the pitching duties to the relievers in the seventh inning. Centre scored the opening run in game two but Berry came up with six runs over the second and third innings to take control of the game.
In the first of a three game series, DePauw defeated Manchester 3-2 in a game played at Bishop Chatard High School in Indianapolis. DePauw received six innings of one-run baseball from starter Mike Hammel who improved to 2-0 on the year after collecting the win. Hammel gave up five hits and struck out seven batters.
Belhaven split their final two games in the Marler Ford Classic, hosted by Louisiana College, defeating Eureka 10-0 before falling to the hosts Wildcats 4-1 at Billy Allgood Field. In game one of the double dip, Belhaven brought the heavy lumber from Friday night into Saturday morning's game with the Red Devils, building a 7-0 lead in the first four innings. Shane Brown lost a perfect game bid in the fifth inning but went the distance in the complete game shutout, allowing four hits, while fanning eight batters. Game two of the doubleheader would be a different story for the Blazers, as Louisiana College used two home runs to rattle the Blazer starter and the Wildcats bullpen shut down a Blazers offense that scored 33 runs in three games this week.
Sewanee got off to its best conference start since 2006 with a doubleheader sweep of SAA rival Millsaps at historic Montgomery Field. The Tigers captured a 3-2 win in the first game and then won the second contest 5-2. The Tigers are now 2-0 to start SAA play. Sewanee also won a series against Millsaps for the first time since prior to 1994.
UW-Platteville spoiled Ripon's season opener with a 8-2 Pioneer win at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. UW-Platteville finished with 14 hits, with four of those coming from Jim Pavlik. Kyle Reinhart added three hits, while scoring three runs and driving in two more. Riley Vandenberg picked up the win in relief, allowing three hits in 3.2 innings of scoreless ball.
Salve Regina gave William Paterson their first loss of the season, defeating the Pioneers 13-12 at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. The Pioneers had the tying run at third with one out in the ninth, but he got caught in a rundown for the second out. A walk and hit by pitch loaded the bases, but a fielder's choice ended the threat and the game.
With runners on first and second in the bottom of the 11th inning, Nick Herzog ripped an RBI single which plated Danny Brown to give UMass-Boston another come-from-behind win as they defeated Rowan by the final of 7-6 at Lake Myrtle Field. This was UMass-Boston's first win over Rowan in three tries.
Baruch defeated Skidmore, 5-3, in Fort Myers, Florida. The Bearcats found themselves down early in the second inning, 2-0, but their bats came alive in the sixth inning where they tied the game and took the lead for good in the seventh. Skidmore attempted a rally in their final at-bat and scored one run, but Ryan Warner, who entered the game in relief in the seventh inning, shut them down.
