May 31, 2022 Counts Named Head Baseball Coach After serving as the head coach of the Austin College baseball team in an interim capacity during the 2022 season, Shawn Counts has been tabbed to continue leading the program into the future as the full-time head coach, Director of Athletics David Norman has announced.

February 8, 2021 Ozark, Austin splits, Louisiana College takes three, Piedmont impresses It was a light weekend of baseball but after 200+ days with the teams off the field, it was a welcome sight. Piedmont opened with an impressive victory, Louisiana College took 3 of 4 from Alma and Austin split with Ozarks in the opening weekend action.

February 16, 2018 Austin opens with win, W&L, TLU stay undefeated with week day wins Austin opened their season with a 6-4 win of Dallas Christian. Earlier in the week, Washington and Lee improved to 3-0 and Texas Lutheran started the spring 7-0.
March 11, 2017 Centenary offense too much for Austin Centenary (La.) finished a three game sweep of Austin, outscoring the Roos 33-6 on Saturday. Emerson also earned two notches in the win column, dispatching Wentworth in their two game set.
