The Redland Bulldogs upended second seed Chapman in the SLIAC tournament and advances to play Cal Luthran in the winners bracket final.

Redlands traveled to Orange on Friday to face the Chapman Panthers in game one of the SCIAC Postseason Tournament. After the teams traded scores through eight solid innings, the score remained knotted at 4-all, leading to an exciting final stanza. The Bulldogs took advantage of a passed ball to score the eventual game-winning run before stepping up defensively to thwart the Panthers' final offensive push. Redlands will meet Cal Lutheran, a 6-2 winner over La Verne.
Top-seeded Shenandoah opened the ODAC Tournament with a 4-2 victory over No. 6 Roanoke at Lynchburg City Stadium. After Roanoke took a 2-1 lead with a single run in the fifth, Shenandoah answered with two runs on two hits in the bottom of the sixth to take a lead it would not relinquish. Jake Loew provided the big blow in the frame, tripling off the wall in right center to score Abel Arocho and Nick Goode from second and first, respectively. Senior pitcher Tom Concklin threw a complete game, as second-seeded Washington and Lee defeated fifth-seeded Hampden-Sydney, 7-2. In the final game of the Friday slate, third-seeded Randolph-Macon dropped a 7-1 decision to No. 4 Virginia Wesleyan.
The University of Chicago got back into the win column and utilized an 11-run inning to dispatch Illinois Institute of Technology 16-5. The Maroons snapped a five-game losing streak to improve to 18-11 on the season. The Scarlet Hawks fell to 11-25. The 16 runs were the second-highest tally of the season for UChicago, which owns a 10-2 record in games when the offense accounts for double-digit runs.
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor fell behind early and Concordia Texas had an answer for each Cru rally attempt as the Tornados posted a 7-2 victory over UMHB in the first round of the ASC Championship Tournament's Blue Bracket in Tyler, Texas. Concordia-Texas will play host Texas Tyler on Saturday after Texas-Tyler defeated Lousiana College 6-1. In the Red bracket, East Texas Baptist and Texas-Dallas advanced with wins. Junior right-hander Jamie Andriot (10-0) became the first-ever 10-game winner in Texas-Dallas history as he earned the 11-8 victory in Friday's tournament opener for the Comets.
Loras snapped a four-game skid skid with a walk-off win against Luther, 3-2. Sophomore Jake Oglesby delivered an infield single to score junior Danny Weis and deliver the victory. With the go-ahead run on third base for the Norse in the top of the ninth and two outs, the Duhawks went to the bullpen and called upon junior TYler Tomaka to keep Luther from taking a lead. Tomaka got Joe Silversmith to swing at strike three and left the go-ahead run on third.

Powered to another win by likely contributors, Kalamazoo defeated Calvin 3-2 in the first game of a doubleheader in the final MIAA regular season series. With the win and the subsequent win by Adrian over Hope, the Hornets are locked into the two seed for the MIAA tournament and will host a first round game next Wednesday, notably the first time the Hornets will host an MIAA tournament game in program history. With the bats remaining relatively quiet in game one, Kalamazoo's offense came to life in game two combining for 14 hits on the way to a 9-4 win.
Dominican making a push for the 2017 NACC Tournament, sweeping the Lakeland Muskies to climb into a three-way tie for the final two spots in the tournament with the MSOE Raiders and Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors with one series remaining on the regular season schedule. The Stars scored 31 total runs on 34 hits in the doubleheader victory while TYler Brown picked up the win in game one, tossing eight innings of six-hit baseball and allowing two runs while walking one and striking out nine. In game two, Jason Gissendaner picked up the win, tossing six innings while allowing two runs on five hits and four walks while striking out eight.
The No. 8 ranked UW-Whitewater Warhawks clinched its 17th WIAC regular season championship and fourth in the last five years with a two-game sweep at UW-Oshkosh. The Warhawks, who also wrap up the top seed and hosting privileges for next week's WIAC Championship tournament, downed the Titans 9-3 in the opener before finishing the day with a 7-1 triumph in game two.
The Wheaton (Ill.) Thunder rallied from an early deficit and tight-rope walked out of danger late to claim a 5-3 victory in 11 innings in the first game of a crucial CCIW series with Illinois Wesleyan. Tasked with extended innings, the Thunder bullpen threw 9.1 innings of scoreless relief to hold the Titans to just seven hits after the second inning. With the victory, Wheaton is now 22-15 on the year and 12-9 in CCIW play. Illinois Wesleyan falls to 20-16 overall and 13-9 in the CCIW. The Thunder and Titans will conclude their series on Saturday with a 1 pm doubleheader at Lee Pfund Stadium.
