Rowan edged NJAC foe TCNJ, 6-5 on Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Profs are 23-6 overall with a 9-2 conference record. The Lions have a 23-4 mark and are they 9-2 in the NJAC. Rowan is ranked fourth in the latest D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Top 25, while TCNJ sits seventh. In the American Baseball Coaches Association Poll, the Lions are fourth and the Brown and Gold hold the sixth spot. Right fielder Eric Schorr led the way with three hits and a double and scored twice. Center fielder Matt Woods and first baseman Mitch Walker each contributed two hits. Woods had three runs batted in (RBI), a home run and a double. Walker chipped in two doubles and one RBI. Left fielder Dan Shane crossed home plate twice and produced a triple and one RBI. Right-hander Dan Corvo was the winning pitcher (2-0), throwing 2.2 innings and allowing no hits. Righty Justin Smith pitched 5.1 frames and struck out five batters. Right-hander Andrew Cartier earned his seventh save, hurling one inning and giving up two hits. Ramapo and Kean kept pace in a tie for third. Rama[o defeated NJCU 7-1 and Kean powered past Montclair state 23-8.

Led by junior Ben Gottesman's career-high 10 strikeouts UMass-Boston bounced back from their loss on Tuesday as they earned an 7-4 win over Salem State at Central Campus Field. Gottesman's day which last 5.1 innings saw the righty hold the Vikings to just one run on five hits. He also walked just one batter in his best start of the season. Before his day came to an end, Gottesman retired eight in a row, which allowed the Beacons to score a pair of runs to take a 2-1 lead into the sixth.
Endicott lost to No. 3 nationally ranked Southern Maine, 7-1, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at Ed Flaherty Field. Huskies' starter Tanner Laberge picked up the win (1-0) on six innings pitched, four hits, one run (earned), four walks, and three strikeouts. Meanwhile, Endicott starter Kyle Wollman received the loss (1-1) via four innings of work, seven hits, four runs (all earned), no walks, and one punchout. The Gulls struck first in the contest when Brendan McDonald plated Jordan Carvalho from third base with a two-out single up the middle in the second inning. From there, Southern Maine answered with the tying run in the third, three more runs in the fourth, a solo run in the sixth, and a pair of runs in the eighth to push its winning streak to five straight games.
Freshman Justin Aviles pitched six shutout innings as Marietta defeated Washington & Jefferson by the score of 6-3 evening in a nonconference matchup. The Pioneers improve to 14-15 on the season, while the Presidents slip to 19-9 overall. Aviles (1-2) scattered three hits and notched a career-high nine strikeouts to earn his first collegiate win. He walked one W&J batter.
Senior Matt Branco went 3-for-4 at the plate as Stevens topped Keystone 8-7 in non-conference play Wednesday afternoon at Mathewson Field. Junior Michael Frissora (1-0) earned his first win on the mound with four strikeouts over 6.0 innings. Sophomore Alex Smith pitched the final 3.0 innings to collect his second save of the year. Dakota McFadden (2-2) was handed the loss after giving up six runs in 6.0 innings pitched.
After the weather forced the doubleheader to be moved back three days, No.1 Concordia-Chicago took to the field today at home against the Lakeland Muskies. CUC played nearly flawless in every aspect, including batting for the team cycle in the fourth inning of game two. The Cougars swept Lakeland by scores of 14-2 and 19-2. With the two wins the winning streak now stands at 23 games.
A resilient effort by Southern Vermont led to the Mountaineers defeating Williams for the first time in seven all-time meetings—topping the Ephs 9-6 in 10 innings at Bobby Coombs Field. SVC trailed 5-0 before using a four-run fourth to make it a one-run game. The Mountaineers would then go on top 6-5 in the seventh—only to see Williams get one back in the home half of the frame to tie it up. Neither side could cross the dish through the final two scheduled innings, but Southern Vermont then struck in the 10th with three runs for the upper hand. The Mountaineers were able to work out of a bases-loaded jam in the bottom of the box—which saw the winning run come to the plate—as the visitors closed out the non-conference win.

Immaculata won its sixth game of its last eight against Haverford behind a brilliant effort from the Mighty Mac pitching staff, as Chris Huyette, Ryan Crowell and Timmy Newell combined to limit the Fords to one run on six hits in the effort. The Immaculata offense was held in check in the early stages of the non-conference bout, but rallied for four runs in the eighth to pull away late.
MIT junior Thomas Allison clubbed a three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth to lift the host Engineers past WPI, 7-6, in a NEWMAC at Fran O'Brien Field. With the win, MIT improves to 15-12-1 on the year and moves above .500 (7-6) in NEWMAC matchups. WPI is now 20-12 and 6-7. Trailing 6-4 heading into the home half of the ninth, junior Matt Johnston walked and sophomore Andrew Krause singled to set the stage for the game-ending swing by Allison.
Misericordia defeated King's College, 15-1, at Tambur Field. The Cougars jumped on the Monarchs early with 11 runs in the first inning. Misericordia sent 16 batters to the plate, tallying eight hits, three walks and a hit batter in the opening frame. Eight different players drove in runs for the Cougars while nine different runners crossed home plate. Tyler Holzapfel led the offense with two hits and a team-high three RBI while Steve Weisensee, Brady Madden, Billy Kerwien and Sean Boylan each collected two RBI. Kenny Jarema extended his on-base streak to 21 games, reaching base four times with three walks and a single. The senior infielder scored three runs and tallied one RBI. Sean Lyons and Conor Smith also added to the team's total with one RBI.
Behind a pair of home runs from Noah Bleakley and Jake Gleason, Springfield defeated Rhode Island College, 9-5 in non-conference action at Archie Allen Field. With the win the Pride improve to 17-13 on the season, while the Anchormen, fall to 21-9 overall. Senior Brandon Russo had an impressive day at the plate as he went 4-for-4 on the day with three extra base hits. Russo's second-inning triple marks his seventh of the year, tying the single season record for Springfield College, which is held by both Edward Bilik, who had seven in 1955, and Wayne Wilson, who produced seven triples in 1958.
Catholic sophomore Michael Doody went 5-for-7 with two doubles, a home run and seven RBIs as the Cardinals extended their winning streak to 10 with a non-conference, doubleheader sweep of St. Mary's (Md.) at Robert Talbot Field. This marks the second-straight season that Catholic (21-10) has had a win streak of at least 10 games after the team started last year with 11 consecutive victories en route to its fifth Landmark Conference championship and third appearance in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship. Senior Ryan Tracy also totaled five hits on the day, going 5-for-9 with four runs and three RBIs.
Bowdoin picked up an 8-7 win over Husson on Wednesday evening. The Polar Bears earn their second out of conference victory of the season to improve to 5-17-1. The Eagles are 16-14. Ejaaz Jiu was the only Bowdoin player with multiple hits, going 2-for-2. The Polar Bears combined for nine hits. Brandon Smith led both teams, going 3-for-4 at the plate while driving in two runs.
