No. 18 ranked UW-Whitewater maintained its two-game
lead in the WIAC standings Sunday with a doubleheader
split at UW-La Crosse. The Warhawks (24-7 overall,
16-2 WIAC) topped the Eagles 14-3 in seven innings in
the first game, and were edged 11-10 in the nightcap.

Tournament Championship series on Sunday afternoon after beating Oglethorpe 4-3 in the semifinal round. BSC's third game of the tournament, which will put them in the championship series against Rhodes next weekend, ended in the same fashion as the first two games: Walk-off victories. The Rhodes Lynx defeated No. 1 seeded Hendrix 12-6. The win marks Rhodes' 23rd straight first round win, pushing the Lynx to their sixth consecutive SAA Championship Series appearance. Brady John went 3-for-6 with five RBI while Ben Wilson went 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored. Peter York went 3-for-5 at the plate as did Liebenson.Trey Sledge picked up the win with four strikeouts over 4.1 innings. Matt Dale closed out the final two innings, striking out three batters.

Sixth-ranked Texas Lutheran bounced back from a 21-inning loss Saturday to defeat Schreiner 11-3 Sunday and clinch the top seed in next weekend's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship. The Bulldogs share the 2019 SCAC regular-season championship with the Trinity Tigers. TLU is the No. 1 seed by virtue of its series win against the Tigers. In the series-deciding win over Schreiner, the Bulldogs collected 20 total hits and broke the game open with a five-run sixth inning.

No. 13 Washington University earned a pair of victories Sunday evening at Kelly Field defeating Monmouth in two pitcher duels, including a ninth inning 2-1 rally in game one and a 4-2 victory in game two.  With the nonconference doubleheader sweep the Bears improved to 29-5-1 on the year while Monmouth fell to 20-11 on the season. WashU and the Fighting Scots finished with the same amount of hits but the Bears pitching staff induced 25 strikeouts. Ryan Loutos recorded a personal-best 15 strikeouts which marks the seventh time in his career that he has reached double figures. The 15 strikeouts are the most by a Bear since 2010 when Jeremy Rogoff matched the output against Webster. After being three-hit in the game one victory, WashU tallied nine in game two. Junior pitcher Matt Ashbaugh picked up his sixth victory of the season holding Monmouth scoreless through 5.1 innings pitched. Ashbaugh recorded six strikeouts while limiting the Fighting Scots to three hits and three walks.

It has been a memorable 2019 season for No. 16 Coe and senior Kevin DeLaney added to the memories Sunday by becoming the program's all-time hits leader during the doubleheader sweep, 3-0 and 8-3 of Loras in American Rivers Conference action at Daniels Park. DeLaney came into Sunday's action two hits shy of tying Craig Konrardy's career hits record of 220 set from 2013-16. DeLaney singled in the third inning of the first game to pull within one of Konrardy. He later delivered another single in the seventh to tie the mark. In the first pitch he saw in the second game, DeLaney found a hole through the left side of the infield for the record-breaking hit. The ball was taken out of play and given to the Coralville native as the crowd stood and applauded the accomplishment. DeLaney added a double in the eighth to run his career hits total to 222.

No. 9 Denison improved to 30-5 and remained undefeated at Big Red Field in 2019 after a 9-7 victory over Baldwin Wallace on Sunday. With the win, Denison head coach Mike Deegan became the program's career leader in wins, passing Barry Craddock with 183 victories. The victory moves the Big Red's winning streak against the Ohio Athletic Conference to 24 games dating back to April 27, 2016. Denison is 11-0 at home this season and 37-5 at Big Red Field over the last three seasons. BW entered the game as the No. 4 ranked team in the Mideast region while DU held down the top spot in the regional rankings.

Senior Devin Warren snapped a 2-2 tie in the sixth inning with a long home run over the scoreboard in left field and the third-ranked University of Southern Maine Huskies went on to defeat the visiting MIT Engineers 6-2 in a non-conference college game at Ed Flaherty Field. The win was the sixth straight, and 11th in the last 12 games, for the Huskies, improving their record to 27-5.  The Engineers dropped their second straight to slip to 17-16-1 overall.

Sophomore Brandon Cooper had a career-best four hits to lead a 16-hit attack as Adrian extended its winning streak to seven games after defeating host Trine, 8-2, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association baseball game on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Mo Hanley struck out 11 Thunder batters in seven innings to get the win. He allowed two runs (zero earned), three hits and did not issue a walk. The contest was postponed after a two-hour delay to start the first game because the ground crew was working to rid shallow center field of standing water.

Rowan wrapped up the regular season with a 17-5 win at Stockton. The Brown and Gold broke the school record for most triples in a game. Rowan totaled five triples, which surpassed the previous mark of four that was set back in 1996 and 2014. Center fielder Matt Woods led the way with five hits, two runs batted in (RBI), a double, one triple and three runs. Shortstop Dillon Mendel followed with four hits, a triple and four runs. Designated hitter Mitch Walker posted three hits, one triple and two RBIs and scored twice.

Second-ranked Christopher Newport showed off the depth of their formidable offense again on Sunday, dropping York (Pa.) Spartans (25-12, 14-7) in dominating fashion, 21-4. Ten different Captains earned a base hit as the Captains went 7-for-7 in conference series this year, improving to 30-5 overall and 17-3 in league play. The 30-win season is the second straight and sixth in the history of the program. All have come under head coach John Harvell who has now finished first or second in the league standings ten times in his 19 seasons. In Sunday's series finale against the Spartans, the Captains fell behind, 2-0, after the first two innings. CNU scored one in the fourth on a bases loaded walk before blowing the game open with a nine-run fifth.
