Oberlin College knocked off the third-ranked Yellow Jackets of Baldwin Wallace, 5-3, on Sunday afternoon at Dill Field. The victory snapped an eight-game slide for the Yeomen and marked their first win since March 30 as they moved to 12-17 on the year, surpassing last season's win total. Rookie right-hander Davis Hayes was impressive on the bump as he left with the lead after six strong innings, allowing just four hits and two runs (one earned) to accompany a pair of strikeouts. Senior Luigi Smarro would shut down the Yellow Jackets in the eighth and Oberlin would pick up a big insurance run in the bottom of the inning when Masnikoff turned on a 1-0 pitch and dumped it into right field to score Black. Smarro would then work around a one-out hit batter in the ninth to lock down his first save of the season and third of his career, getting Anastasio to ground into a fielder's choice to end the game.

In a matchup between two of the three teams tied atop the North Coast Athletic Conference standings with just one loss in conference play so far this season, No. 2 Denison University settled for a two-game split against DePauw University on Sunday at the Big Red Baseball Field. After falling in game one, the Big Red won 7-1 in a crucial game two to keep pace in the conference standings. In the opener, it was 4-4 after four innings and 5-5 after six, but in the seventh inning, DePauw got a leadoff single to left field followed by a walk and a single to right center to load the bases with nobody out, setting up a two-run single up the middle. In the ninth inning, down one run, Denison strung back-to-back two-out singles up the middle by Jake Lutte and Noah Leib, the latter of which allowed the pinch runner, Kuyper Lashutka, to run all the way to third base, but a flyout to center field gave Denison its second conference defeat over the last two weeks.

St. Joseph's University (L.I.) stretched their win streak to 19 with a pair of Skyline Conference wins at SUNY Maritime on Sunday afternoon. A couple of long balls propelled the Golden Eagles to a 6-1 victory in game one before a 4-3 extra-inning affair in game two. The Privateers jumped on the board early with a run in the bottom of the first. The 1-0 score remained until the Golden Eagles put up six runs in the top of the sixth. Junior Dante Morabito was credited with his third win of the season surrendering two runs on just one hit with four strikeouts on five innings of relief in game two. Starter Jack Kelly allowed one run on five hits with six strikeouts in five innings of work. John Lynch led off the top of the tenth with a double in the left-center gap and a base hit through the right side by Sanguedolce put runners at the corners with one out. Mike DiFilippo followed with a single to center bringing in Lynch for the eventual game-winning run. A one-two-three inning for Dante Morabito in the bottom of the tenth locked down the 4-3 win.

The bottom of the ninth the Lakers looked roaring to take the lead back starting off the inning with two runners on another hit by Jelani Hamer. A bunt attempt by Jacob Levine forced an error by the Red Dragons to load the bases. With one out Trey McGowan hit a fly ball to left field where Daniel Winchester was able to tag up and make it home just in time to beat the throw for the 7-6 walk off win.

For the sixth time in the season, George Fox found themselves in extra innings. And for the fourth time in those sixth games, the Bruins emerged victorious, taking down Willamette, 3-2, in 11 innings. Thanks to solid pitching from Michael Singleton, the opportunity to win came in the top of the 11th inning, with the game still knotted at 2-2. Evan Balingit reached base and advanced, this time courtesy of a single from Isaac Snyder that moved him to third. In the 11th Flynn hit a clean single to left for the walk-off win. Freshman Elias Bourque was brilliant in relief, allowing just one hit and one walk over six scoreless innings. It was VTSU Castleton that used a late-inning rally to win the opener. The Panthers loaded the bases with one out and a sacrifice fly cut the deficit to 8-6, but VTSU Castleton would use a three-run shot as part of a four-run ninth to secure the win.

After UWS and Minnesota Morris combining for 41 hits and 31 runs, the Yellowjackets came out in front, winning in walk off fashion by a score of 16-15. Game two was a snappy two hours and 12 minutes, which saw UWS complete the series sweep against the Cougars 10-4.
