Dillon Souvignier plated the second run of the inning on a ground-rule double, scoring Shawn Steuerer. Marymount (8-2) cut into the lead in the top-half of the third, by way of the long ball, before Caleb Cyr returned the favor in the bottom-half, launching a moonshot over the center field wall. The 24 runs matched the program record, set on March 24, 2009, in a 24-4 win over North Central.
