The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its fourteenth season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors. This is the third Team of the Week of the 2025 season.

C Cooper Ames, Jr., Union
Ames had a strong day at the plate in Saturday's doubleheader sweep over SUNY Purchase. Ames hit .625 and went 5-for-8 with a double, a home run, five RBIs, and two runs scored.
1B Tyler Johnson, Sr., Hamline
Johnson batted .476 (10-for-21) with 11 runs batted in and nine runs scored in the Pipers' five games last week. Johnson started his season with home runs in back-to-back games at Nebraska Wesleyan and finished the weekend with a pair of doubles and six RBI in a three-game series with Martin Luther.
1B Andrew Wallace, Sr., Franklin
Wallace batted .667 (4-for-6) with two solo home runs, a double and four runs scored for Franklin in last week's doubleheader with UChicago. He drove in two as the Grizzlies were swept in the doubleheader.
2B Ryan Vallie, So., Western Connecticut State
Vallie went a perfect 8-for-8 with two extra-base hits, seven runs scored and seven RBI as the Wolves opened their 2025 season with two blowout victories over the Maccabees.
SS Hunter Rauch, Sr., Keystone
Rauch batted .857 with six hits in seven at-bats and five RBI as Keystone went 2-0 to open the 2025 season. The senior infielder hit a triple and home runs as he posted a 1.571 slugging percentage along with a .889 on base percentage.
3B Cody Sunny, Jr., Loras
Sunny batted 9-for-18 (.500) as Loras went 5-0 on the weekend in a doubleheader against Blackburn and games against Northland College, Wisconsin Lutheran, and Augustana (Ill.) Sunny had five RBIs, scored 11 runs and walked six times. He had five extra-base hits: three doubles and two triples.
OF Justin Blancaflor, So., Hardin-Simmons
On an otherwise tough week for the Cowboys, Blancaflor was outstanding at the plate, going 9-for-17 (.529) with three doubles, two home runs and eight RBIs. He had a .619 on-base percentage and slugged 1.059.
OF Caleb Gray, Jr., Whitworth
Gray had a monster weekend at the plate, batting .500 (7-for-15) with five home runs, 13 runs batted in and five runs scored. He had a double to go with the home run barrage to bring his slugging percentage for the weekend was 1.643.
OF Chase Hanselman, Sr., Ripon
Hanselman was unstoppable in a pair of games to open the season. In a doubleheader sweep of North Central (Ill.) the senior transfer from Benedictine went 6-for-10 (.600) with seven RBI, three home runs, nine runs scored, three walks and two stolen bases.
OF Kevin Zischke, Jr., Averett
Zischke hit four home runs in a doubleheader sweep of Southern Virginia on Saturday. He batted .556 (5-for- 9) and slugged 1.889 He scopred six runs and drove in 11. Also went 2-for-2 on steals.
DH Mike Petrucelly, So., Old Westbury
Petrucelly batted .750 (6-for-8) as SUNY Old Westburg walked off the Nittany Lions of Penn State Berks in two seven inning games. He drove in five and score twice. He had a home run to bring his slugging percentage to 1.125 this week.
SP Jacob Davis, Sr., Kalamazoo
Davis threw a one-hit, nine inning complete game shutout in a 4-0 win in the series opener at Earlham on Saturday. He struck out a career-high 13, tying him for second-most in a game in school history.
SP Jacob Fickenscher, Sr., St. Olaf
Fickenscher struck out a career-high 12 batters over 5.0 shutout innings to pick up the win in St. Olaf's 5-0 game-one victory at Simpson on Sunday. The senior held the Storm to two hits with one walk over the five innings. Twelve of the senior's 15 outs came via strikeout, including the first nine, as he fanned 12 of the 18 batters he faced.
SP Alex Kuntz, So., Concordia Wisconsin
Kuntz struck out 14 of 20 batters on Sunday against Bethany Lutheran and only gave up one hit against in a 13-4 win. He pitched a perfect inning against Carroll, recording a strikeout.
SP Brandon Leidolph, Jr., North Park
Leidolph had nine strikeouts and allowed one hit allowed in a scoreless, seven-inning start against Webster. Ended with a hard luck no-decision. He leads the Vikings with a .139 BAA and has allow just one extra-base hit against 15 strikeouts this season.
RP Zander Teator, Jr., Babson
Teator was superb out of the bullpen coming into a pair of tight games and recording two saves while striking out one and not allowing a hit in either outing. He worked around an error to toss a scoreless ninth inning in Saturday's 5-3 win over No. 26 Transylvania and followed it up by recording one strikeout to help secure a 5-4 victory over No. 16 Baldwin Wallace on Sunday.
