July 14, 2025 Gottesman heads list of 13 players drafted On Day two of the MLB Amateur Draft, Endicott graduate Jordan Gottesman was chosen by the San Francisco Giants as the first DIII player drafted. Gottesman was one of 13 players selected in the two day event.
March 2, 2025 Lutz wins 1000th game at Alvernia Alvernia (4-2) tallied two wins over Norwich (2-2) Sunday afternoon in a non-conference doubleheader in Florida. Alvernia head baseball coach Yogi Lutz recorded his 1,000th career victory with the 14-2 win in game one of the doubleheader with Norwich.
May 12, 2024 Alvernia captures fourth MAC Commonwealth title #2 Alvernia University defeated #1 Messiah University, 7-2, behind a 118 pitch shutdown performance from Jason Kelly on the mound as the Golden Wolves claimed their fourth MAC Commonwealth title on Sunday evening at Clipper Magazine Stadium.
March 8, 2024 Rowan rolls on Friday Rowan rolled to an 11-1 win over Mount St. Vincent but was not the only team with a 10 runs win on Friday. Alvernia, Clark, Mount Union and Virginia Wesleyan also won by double digit totals.
