May 12, 2024 Middlebury tops Tufts for program’s third NESCAC title Middlebury topped Tufts in today's NESCAC Championship. The Panthers dropped the opening contest 7-4 but secured a 9-2 victory in the winner-take-all second contest. Middlebury receives the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament which begins next week.
April 10, 2024 Schroeder, Blake, Eilbacher honored with weekly NCBWA honors A two-grand slam week, a 17-strikeout outing, and a rookie on an offensive tear captured the week seven National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association NCAA Div. III weekly honors. This week’s selections were chosen based on performances for games played April 1-7.
February 15, 2023 Region 1 Preview: New England I With another year of Division 3 baseball upon us, little has changed in the Region 1 landscape. Middlebury and Wheaton are the reigning champions in the top conferences and look to compete again.
May 14, 2022 Middlebury keeps reseting the record book in NESCAC run Middlebury continues to add records as they came out of the second day of the NESCAC tournament as the only unbeaten team heading into Sundays chanpionship round. The NESCAC playoff bid is ove of less that 10 that will be up for grabs on Sunday.
March 11, 2020 NESCAC cancels all spring sports Out of fear of the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus, Amherst sent its students home, followed by Middlebury, then Tufts, and finally, the entire NESCAC spring sports slate has been canceled.
April 16, 2019 Bixler powers Franklin to conference split Ryan Bixler was the solo home run shy of the home run cycle as Franklin split with Rose-Hulman on Tuesday. Elsewhere, Middlebury sent D-I Dartmouth to defeat as Denison and Wooster swept their games to go 19=8-0 collectively in the NCAC.
