March 01, 2024There is a storm brewing in Southern California this weekend. Highlighting the Friday slate, Redlands upset La Verne and Pomona-Pitzer gave Claremont their first loss of the season. The biggest surprise was Whittier taking game one of their series with Cal Lu. -
Six players drafted in MLB draft
July 10, 2023Four players heard their name in the second day of the MLB amateur draft. Kiefer Lord, Jonah Advincula, Charlie Szykowny and Andrew Sears were drafted off scholarship teams in 2023. Jackson Hornung and Hayden Snelsire were selected on the final day of the MLB draft. -
Lutherans rule the day
February 08, 2019Lutheran ruled the day as Pac Lu and Cal Lu opened their seasons in Arizona with wins. Pac Lu exploded for 13 runs over a two-inning stretch in a 13-8 victory over Redlands. Cal Lu used dominant pitching to take down Texas-Dallas 8-3 for their opening win. Whittier fell to Vangard 9-1 in an exhibition game as they open their season with Willamette on Friday. -
Dallas, Pacific get wins in Sunday Slate
February 03, 2019University of Dallas took the series win over Sul Ross State after defeating the Lobos 13-2 on Sunday afternoon. Pacific's stopover on the way to the Cactus Classic Tournament went as planned as the Boxers took a second game from Redlands 8-6. HPU ended their Hawaii trip 0-5. -
Pacific gets win in opener for D-III season
February 01, 2019Pacific, Redlands, and Howard Payne opened the D-III season on Friday night. Pacific traveled to Redlands where they scored twice in the ninth to break a 2-2 tie en route to a 4-2 win. Howard Payne dropped their opener to D-II Hawaii Pacific 7-4. -
Smith is first of eleven D-III players drafted
June 07, 2018The first D-III player taken in this year's MLB amateur player draft was Hugh Smith, a righthander out of Whitworth and was the only name called on day two. Christian Cosby, Chapman was the first of 11 players drafted on the third and final day of the MLB draft. -

May 25, 2018It was announced earlier this week that University of Redlands senior third baseman Brendan Gardiner (Mission Viejo, CA) and junior shortstop Aaron Singh (Anaheim, CA) were named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-America Second Team to cap off their stellar contributions throughout the 2018 campaign. Out of nearly 400 student-athletes among the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Teams, only 50 garnered All-America status. -
Redlands Baseball Continues to Impress with Multiple ABCA/Rawlings All-West Region Awards
May 23, 2018The awards continue to roll in for the University of Redlands baseball team, as the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings recently announced that six Bulldogs account for seven All-West Region awards. Highlighting the stellar crew, senior third baseman Brendan Gardiner (Mission Viejo, CA) was named the 2018 West Region Position Player of the Year. In addition, he joins senior catcher Rainier Aguilar (San Bernardino, CA), junior shortstop Aaron Singh (Anaheim, CA), senior pitcher Adam Stead (Rialto, CA), and senior second baseman Will Hall (Seattle, WA) on the First Team, while senior pitcher Felix Minjarez (Riverside, CA) snagged a spot on the Third Team. -

May 14, 2018It was recently announced that senior third baseman Brendan Gardiner (Mission Viejo, CA) was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Baseball Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA) and recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Gardiner well exceeded the minimum 3.3 grade-point average to be considered for this award. -

No. 11/15 Bulldog Baseball’s Offense Surges in Doubleheader Split with the ULV Leopards
April 07, 2018The No. 11/15 University of Redlands baseball team hosted the Leopards from University of La Verne for a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) doubleheader on Saturday at the Yard. After dropping game one of the series just one day prior, the Bulldogs looked to rally at home to take two of three for the series win. With the help of two huge offensive innings and some costly errors by the Leopards' defense, Redlands captured a 13-9 in the opening game. Although the Bulldog bats came out swinging in game two with a total of 16 hits, Redlands eventually fell to La Verne by a final of 7-9. -
No. 11/15 Bulldog Baseball Drops Series Opener against La Verne in Extra Innings
April 06, 2018The No. 11/15 University of Redlands baseball team traveled to the University of La Verne on Friday to take on the Leopards in game one of their Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) series. The Bulldogs had their ace on the mound and scored six runs on 13 hits, but a late-game blunder led to Redlands' 6-7, extra-inning loss. -
Redlands Baseball Bumps up to Nos. 10 and 15 on Pair of Polls
March 31, 2018The American Baseball Coaches Association and D3baseball.com released their most recent polls this morning, with the University of Redlands taking the No. 10 and No. 15 spots, respectively. March 31, 2018The University of Redlands baseball team headed to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges on Saturday to continue the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) series against the Stags. Behind solid pitching, the Bulldogs got ahead and stayed ahead to take the first game by a score of 7-3. Unfortunately, a big third inning in game two for the Stags was too much for Redlands to overcome for its first loss in eight games. -

March 30, 2018The 10/15 Redlands baseball team jumped back into Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) action on Friday afternoon at The Yard. Despite getting down early, the Bulldogs busted out the bats with 12 hits for a 7-3, comeback win. -

March 28, 2018The No. 10/15 University of Redlands baseball team took on its final non-conference competitor of the regular season with a single game against Middlebury College (VT). On a warm, Wednesday afternoon, the Maroon and Gray used solid pitching and stingy defense to top the Middlebury Panthers, 4-1. -
No. 16/24 Redlands Baseball Brings Out the Brooms with SCIAC Sweep of Caltech
March 24, 2018The University of Redlands baseball team returned home to The Yard to face the Caltech Beavers for a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) doubleheader on Saturday. The Bulldogs scored at least one run in 12 of the 14 innings played in a pair of 10-0 shortened-game victories. -
