March 8, 2026 New England teams win on Sunday as they open undefeated Tufts and WPI opened their seasons this weekend with perfect records after losing their scheduled openers to weather. In Indiana, Wooster completed a rare feat in scoring in every inning in their win over Elmhurst.
March 4, 2026 Three honored with February NCBWA award An OPS over 2.300, 19 shutout innings and a 30-strikeout performance on the mound captured the first NCBWA Div. III honors for the 2026 season. This week’s selections were based on games played through March 1 and are for the month of February.
February 9, 2026 Wielansky MVP of Caribbean Series Michael Wielansky, who was drafted by the then-defending World Series champion Houston Astros following his junior year at The College of Wooster, was named the most valuable player of the 2026 Caribbean Series.
April 16, 2025 Jones, Spring and Fassert honored by NCBWA Performances that saw seven homers, 13 shutout innings and eight no-hit frames captured the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III honors for the week of April 7-13 A no-hitter and a three-homer game captured the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III honors for the week of March 31-April 6 with one player winning two awards on the same week for the first time in the history of the awards.
April 7, 2025 Wooster stretches win streak to eleven Crooked-number home runs powered Wooster's winning streak to double digits, then the Fighting Scots rallied late to sweep DePauw . Mount Union also extended their win skein to elevens with a sweep of Otterbein.
August 14, 2023 Swick takes Wooster head coaching position Aaron Swick, a 15-year NCAA Div. III head coach who achieved great success at Willamette, has been hired as The College of Wooster's head baseball coach.
