    The beginning of the week was so yesterday. Bethel got a loss on Monday but bounced back on Tuesday to get back in the win column with a 4-2 win over Loras. Birmingham-Southern also found the winning touch after losing a weekend series to Oglethorpe.

    With the Royals' 6-4 extra-inning win over Northwestern in game on Saturday, head coach Brian Raabe picked up career win No. 300. Bethel rallied late in game one scoring two runs in the seventh to tie the game at three forcing extra innings.

    Brady Leonard and Zach Hollingsworth teamed up for Simpson's first no-hitter since 2011 to split the series with Bethel on Wednesday at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Storm lost 9-6 against the Royals to open its season but bounced back to win 2-0.

    Bethel slugged its way to a non-conference sweep at UW-Superior Thursday evening. The Royals took the opener 9-7 before taking the night cap 19-1 that gave head coach Brian Raabe his 200th career win.

  • Royals Split Big Series Against Augsburg in Makeup Double-Header

    The Royals baseball team faced Augsburg College in a pair of games Sunday, in a make-up double-header that was scheduled for one day prior. Despite scoring first in the opener, Bethel fell 7-9 in game one, however, managed to come back and snag a win in game two, 3-2. Fans in attendance also particpated as Bethel took part in the MIAC campaign to strike out prostate cancer this week.
