The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its fourteenth season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors. This is the fifth Team of the Week of the 2025 season.
Games of March 10-16, 2025
C Colin Jones, Jr., LaGrange
Jones delivered a dominant offensive performance, hitting .556 (6-for-11) with an incredible 1.972 slugging percentage and a .694 on-base percentage. He drove in 15 runs and scored eight times while blasting five home runs. His power surge helped propel LaGrange to a sweep of Asbury to open conference play.
C Brendan Tabor, Sr., Anderson
In a 4-2 week, Tabor smashed a double and five home runs. He accounted for 25 runs with 15 RBIs and ten runs. He went 13-for-21, finishing the week with a .619 batting average, a .671 on-base percentage and a 1.381 slugging percentage.
1B Riley Uhls, Jr., Berry
Uhls hit .571 (8-for-14) to lead the Vikings at the plate. Half of his hits were for extra bases (two doubles, two home runs) for a 1.143 slugging percentage. Uhls scored six runs and had 12 RBIs.
2B Cooper Jen, Fr., Texas Lutheran
Over a five-game week, Jen hit .381 (8-for-21) with three homers, two doubles, a triple, 12 RBI, and 10 runs scored, He hit for the cycle in game two of the series against Dallas on Saturday.
SS Jacob LaDuca, Sr., Washington & Jefferson
LaDuca dominated offensively for W&J on their Florida trip, helping the Presidents close with a 4-1 record last week. The senior captain posted a .500 batting average (8-for-16), tallied eight hits, hit two doubles, batted in four runs, stole three bags and smashed one home run on the week.
3B Jackson Inman, Fr., Salisbury
Inman slashed .333/.381/.722 with a double, two homers, three runs, and eight RBIs during the Sea Gulls' 4-1 week. Inman saved the best for last on Sunday against MIT, belting two home runs and driving in four runs. He also completed 11 errorless chances (9 assists, 2 putouts) at third base.
OF Nick Harms, Sr., Case Western Reserve
Harms led the Spartans offensively to six wins in seven games last week. Harms hit a team-high .531 (17-for-32) with 14 runs, 11 RBIs, four doubles, two triples, three home runs, two walks, and a pair of stolen bases. He finished the week with a 1.063 slugging percentage and a .571 on-base percentage.
OF Riley Hendren, Fr., Augustana (Ill.)
Hendren batted .714 (5-for-7) over two games last week. He hit two doubles and a triple to slug 1.286. He scored four runs with four RBIs.
OF Jack Loftus, Sr., Western New England
Loftus collected his 100th hit this week in a slew of games in Florida. In total, went 8-for-17 (.471) at the plate, scoring seven runs, picking up one double, one triple, three home runs, and nine RBIs.
OF Zach Seigrist, Sr., Concordia (Texas)
Seigrist made history with the program's first ever cycle in a 15-14 victory over DeSales, including the go-ahead two-RBI triple in the bottom of the eighth. In a week where the Tornaods went 5-0, Seigirst went 11-24 (.458) with a team-best 14 RBIs to go along with 10 runs, five walks and six extra base hits (three doubles, two homers, one triple).
DH Andrew Mazzone, Gr., Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
Mazzone batted .600 to help CMS to a 4-0 record at the Tucson Invitational Games, running its winning streak to 10 games. He was 9-for-15 with four extra base hits, a double, a triple and two homers, for a 1.200 slugging percentage. He added three walks and an HBP for an on-base percentage of .684. He scored three and drove in seven.
DH Alex Neeld, Jr., York (Pa.)
Neeld helped lead the Spartans to a great start in MAC Commonwealth play. He finished the week hitting .545 (6-for-11) with eight runs scored, six home runs, and nine RBI. He also drew four walks as he had a .625 on-base percentage and a 2.182 slugging percentage.
SP Jason Gilman, Sr., Kean
Gilman improved to 5-0 on the season with a nine-inning complete game shutout. He allowed just three hits and one walks, striking out 12.
SP Ty Lowe, Sr., Mary Washington
Lowe fired eight innings of two-hit ball in a 3-0 shutout win against John Carroll on Saturday, carrying a no-hitter deep into the sixth inning -- the second time he's no-hit an opponent through five innings in his last two starts. Lowe struck out seven, while allowing just one walk, and throwing 109 total pitches in the process.
SP Robert Nathan, So., William Paterson
Nathan earned his second win of the season after tossing a no-hitter during a 13-0 win over Framingham State in seven innings March 16. The Lords Valley, Pa., native pitched 7.0 innings, tying his career-best mark of eight strikeouts.
SP Zeke Swartz, Sr., Piedmont
Swartz earned a win over No. 25 Emory. He pitched 8.0 innings, allowing two hits and no walks. He had a career-high 13 strikeouts.
RP Alex Erickson, Sr., Union
Erickson earned his first save of the season and first win of the season this past week. Erickson struck out five in 2.1 innings of work and did not allow a hit or a run.
