The Concordia University Chicago baseball team will be part of
the NCAA III Baseball Regionals for the second consecutive year and
third in the last five years. The Cougars shut out the Wisconsin
Lutheran College Warriors 9-0 in the championship round of the
Northern Athletics Conference Tournament this evening to complete a
4-0 run through the field.
The Cougars will enter regional play with a new program record of
36 wins and on the strength of a 14-game winning streak. Head coach
Adam
Smith and his team will know by Monday morning
to which one of the eight regionals they have been assigned.
