Southwestern took down another Top 5 team sending St. Thomas to their first loss of the season on Monday. The Pirates, coming off a 13-0 shutout of Cal Lutheran, kept their bats swinging with a 13-7 win over the second ranked Tommies.

In his first start of the season, freshman Sam Ankrom showed some nerves on the mound, but on Monday he was completely locked in. Ankrom was in total control from the first pitch, going seven scoreless innings as Heidelberg blanked Denison 5-0.

Junior Tyler Hrycak hit two home runs and drove in three to lead fourth-ranked Salisbury to an 11-5 victory over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in non-league action at the SU Baseball Field. Jordan Gowe had four RBI and Krycak had three to lead the Sea Gulls.

Wisconsin-La Crosse used a four-run second inning to defeat the Washington & Jefferson Presidents 6-3. UW-LaCrosse posted 10 hits to W&J's six, with Taylor Kohlwey going three-for-four with four RBI.

Junior right-hander Shyler Scates pitched eight strong innings to earn his second win of the season as 8th-ranked Southern Maine Huskies defeated 23rd-ranked Rowan. Scates allowed eight hits and no walks while striking out four over his eight innings of work. Senior Brendon Joyce led the Huskies' 14-hit offense with three hits and two RBI.

Eastern scored two insurance runs in the ninth and needed both as Wesley rallied for a pair of their own. The Eagles held on to a 6-5 win, for their first win of the season. Mike McCracken got the win in relief for Eastern, pitching two scoreless innings while fanning one. Josh Freed earned the save by fanning two batters and allowing two unearned runs.

Jacob Enterlin tossed a complete game to pick up the win for the Blue Jays, allowing eight hits while striking out seven batters.  Mike Smith went 2-4 with three RBIs while Conor Reynolds collected four hits to lead the Blue Jays offensively.

The Continentals were led by Joe Jensen, who scored four runs, stole two bases and singled, tripled and homered.

Day two of Endicott's schedule at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational featured a matchup with NESCAC rival Bowdoin at the Lake Myrtle Complex Main Field. Bowdoin claimed a 5-1 victory in game one behind a strong pitching performance from junior lefty Harry Ridge but the Gulls responded in game two, winning 15-8 as six different players recorded RBIs including three apiece from senior Chase Sullivan, junior Nicholas De Lotto, and sophomore Mike Kochiss.

Mass-Dartmouth junior David Tarr threw 5.2 innings to earn his first collegiate victory, and freshman Matt Cronin retired all four batters he faced to collect his first career save as the Corsairs defeated Ramapo 5-3. The Corsairs scored three runs in the fourth inning to race out to a 4-0 advantage en route to improving their overall record to 4-1. The Roadrunners suffered their first loss of the season to slip to 5-1.

Pacific started slow but finished fast as a 3 for 4 afternoon by Donnie Bradley led the Boxers to a 15-2 win over Lewis & Clark for a sweep of their NWC series at the Huston Sports Complex.  Bradley finished the day with a double, a home run, two runs and four RBIs to lead a day that saw the Boxers belt out 13 hits and capitalize on five Pioneers' errors.
