Elms moved to 17-2 with a 12-4, 1-0 sweep of Albertus Magnus on Wednesday. The Blazers built a 5-0 lead and cruised to the game one win. Tim Gelzinis hit a sacrifice fly in the nightcap to spoil a four-hitter by Albertus Magnus' Christopher Rivera.

Senior pitcher Ryan Gallagher had one of the top outings of his career, allowing just one earned run over a career-high eight and one-third innings on the mound as the Grove City held on for a 4-3 victory at NAIA member Warner at Royals Baseball Field. Junior catcher Andy Fritz went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBI to lead the Wolverine attack as Grove City improved to 10-4, the program's best 14-game start since the 2007 season.
No. 21 Western New England got back on the winning track with a 11-2 win over Springfield as the Pride surrendered eight runs through the first two innings and could not recover. WNE totaled 13 hits in the game, including a 4-for-6 performance by Daniel Morin. Starter Andrew Mulvey earned the win going five innings, allowing just one earned run on one hit while striking out three and walking eight.
Lightning struck twice for the Bearcats in their conference opening doubleheader against Westminster (Pa.), twice rallying from a one-run deficit in the final inning to earn wins by scores of 4-3 and 3-2. In game one, SVC had a run scoring double to tie the score and a run scoring single for the win in the top of the 7th inning. Once again down to the final inning, SVC score twice, the final run coming on Aaron Burger's a solo home run to left center.
No. 22 Wooster erased a 6-2 deficit late to defeat Keystone, 10-6 in non-conference action on Wednesday in Florida. Wooster rallied with eight unanswered runs, including seven in the bottom of the eighth inning, to pick up the victory.
SUNY Maritime rallied back from a one-run deficit in the seventh inning to defeat the CCNY Beavers, 6-4. Freshman Joe Scerra led the Privateers with two RBIs and a walk in the win.

Eric Brown allowed just two runs through eight-plus innings and Gettysburg defeated Penn State Berks 9-2 in a non-conference outing at a sunny Kirchhoff Field. Gettysburg supported Brown with 13 hits. Every starter batted safely, with Luke Lawrence, Chuck Probst, Connor Tom, and Andy Kelley collecting two hits apiece.
Nick Comei, Sean Greene, and John Caliri all registered multiple hits as WPI defeated Brandeis 10-2 in a non-conference baseball contest at the New England Baseball Complex. The big blow to Brandeis' chances for a win was an eight run third inning. WPI used nine eight pitchers with Sam Bacchaocchi the only Engineer to work a pair of innings.
Joe Anselmi's home run in the bottom of the seventh proved to be the game-winner as Manhattanville held on to defeat William Paterson 9-8. Anselmi came on as a pinch hitter and promptly blasted a home run inside the left foul pole to give the Valiants a 9-6 lead at the time. After allowing two runs in the eighth inning, Dennis Berardi shut down the Pioneers in the ninth to secure the victory for the Valiants.
The 14th-ranked Christopher Newport Captains held a comfortable 11-3 edge heading into the final three innings, but needed to thwart a comeback on the road to pull out a 12-10 win at Southern Virginia. Thanks to a stellar save by senior Adam Emerson and a strong, balanced offensive effort,The Captains got to win number 15.
No. 5 Southern Maine pounded out 18 hits en route to a 5-2 victory over the UW-Stevens Point at Lake Myrtle Field #3. Sam Dexter and Sam Stauble paced the Huskies attack with four hits apiece. Dexter had three doubles for the second time in his career to equal the school single-game record.
Heading late into the game on Wednesday, things were not looking good for the Heidelberg, which had been the way the season had started for the Student Princes. This time, however, a late rally that used two runs in the eighth and three in the ninth propelled the Berg to a big 7-6 win at La Roche.
Andrew Niech had four hits and homered for the second straight day while Kyle Kafer tossed five masterful innings for his second win as New Jersey City bounced back from a lengthy extra inning loss yesterday to defeat St. Joseph's C (Brooklyn), 8-4, at the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex.

Kalamazoo won its final game in Florida 8-2 over SUNY New Paltz. Kalamazoo led 3-1 after four innings and added kept adding to their score with a pair of runs in the sixth and three more in the seventh. Each team had 10 hits in the game.
Hamiton stretched its winning streak to five, splitting a doubleheader with Bowdoin in Winter Haven, Fla. The Continentals won the opener 14-8 before dropping game two 4-1.
Southern Vermont notched its first NECC win of the 2016 season as the Mountaineers defeated visiting Mitchell by a 13-9 tally at Bill Epstein Field. Southern Vermont trailed 9-4 going into the bottom of the seventh but then opened up for eight runs to pull ahead before closing out the series' rubber match.
St. Mary's (Md) battled successfully and received their first CAC win of the season against Mary Washington with a score of 6-5. The Seahawks were on their hitting game today, totaling 17 hits for the game. Senior Michael O'Neill and first-year Holden Marshall both tallied three hits for the Seahawks.
It was high scoring in the final two innings of a thrilling 11-10 final at QuickTrip Park. The University of Dallas' five-run comeback in the ninth fell shy, after Arlington Baptist held on with the help of tallying seven runs in the previous frame to nip a 5-4 deficit.
