AUBURNDALE, Fla. (Duhawks.com) - After four days of baseball under the Florida sun, the Loras baseball team showed little signs of wear, pounding out 14 hits in Monday's finale to defeat St. Norbert, 11-2. The win marked the 500th in the coaching career of Carl Tebon, 444 of which have come as the skipper for the Duhawks.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
- Scoreless until the top of the third until St. Norbert Andy Peterik homered to right field
- The Green Knights lead did not last long as the Duhawks dropped four runs in the bottom half of the inning off of an RBI single from both Danny Weis and Danny Paluch and a sacrifice fly from Jake Oglesby
- In the top of the fifth, St. Norbert reached third on an error and later scored off an an RBI single by Zach Raeder
- After the seven inning stretch, Loras found their bats once again as they hammered another four runs that started from a Ryan Koester triple to lead off the inning … Luke Fennelly added an RBI single as well as Austin Konagel hit a deep triple to left field scoring two
- The Duhawks next at bat added another three runs from a Paluch RBI single and a two-run home run by Richard Bryza

- Brad Scwind earned his third win of the season throwing 4.0 innings, six strikeouts and allowing only one earned run
- Aidan Wojciehowski earned his first save of the season finishing the last 3.0 innings, throwing five strikeouts and allowing zero hits or runs

Loras travels to Greencastle, Ind. for the weekend to face Trine on Saturday and DePauw on Sunday. Trine enters the week with a 5-3 overall record having split with Central earlier this season. DePauw enters the week with a 1-5 overall record having dropped the last five.
