Fouteen was a lucky number for Rhodes on Tuesday. In getting their 14th win, the Lynx used 14 hits to down Huntingdon 9-6 at Stauffer Field. It was a bullpen day for the Lynx who started out with Andy Shreves. After two innings, Ben South went to the mound and allowed zero hits across three innings to pick up his first collegiate win. Rhodes was down 3-1 and led 8-3 when South left the game. Alex Garrett, Will Vance, Carter King and Dale all pitched an inning. Huntingdon tallied just four hits in the game. John Medich finished the game three-of-three with a walk, double and run scored while Paul Giacomazzi went three-of-four with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI.

Ramapo defeated Maritime on the road 9-4 in non-conference action. The Roadrunners snap the Privateers four game win streak and improve to 9-5 overall while Maritime now stands at 9-5 overall. Cory Heitler improved to 3-0 overall with 11 strikeouts and three walks while he scattered four hits over five innings of work. He only surrendered one run. Jeff Millet worked the sixth and seventh with three strikeouts, three walks while he surrendered one hit and one run scored. Robert Sartori pitched the final two innings of relief with four strikeouts and no walks. He scattered three hits and let up just two runs.
Andrew Fabry had his off-speed pitches working to perfection on a chilly afternoon in leading Albion to a 3-0 victory over Bluffton in its home opener at Champions Stadium at Frank Joranko Field. The junior from Grosse Pointe South needed just 96 pitches to complete his three-hitter that featured seven strikeouts. Fabry took a perfect game into the seventh inning. He retired the first 19 batters until Colin Gregory sent a softly hit ball to shortstop Joe Turnbull.
Saint John's (Minn.) ended its four-day trip to Tucson with a 16-7 win over Buena Vista. The Johnnies (14-2 overall) overcame an early 4-0 deficit with 13 runs in the first four innings and totaled 19 hits (a .452 average) in the victory. Sophomore third baseman Jack Schramel led SJU with four hits (4-for-6), including a two-run double in the first inning, and scored three runs. Senior first baseman Jeron Terres and junior outfielder Jack Wingerd followed with three hits apiece and senior catcher Dominick Schleper drove in four. Terres roped a pair of RBI doubles and Wingerd collected six total bases thanks to a double and triple.
Sophomore Christian Naccari laced a two-run single to right in the top of the ninth as Nichols edged host WPI, 10-8, at the New England Baseball Complex. The game was knotted at 8-8 heading into the ninth. With two on and one out, sophomore Kyle Bouchard loaded the bases with a hit to right. Naccari followed with what proved to be the game-winning swing. The Engineers had two on with two outs; however, the game ended with a swinging strikeout.
King's College scored a season-high 15 runs in a 15-9 victory over Marywood at Lipo Field in Wilkes-Barre. The game was called after the top of the eighth inning due to darkness. The Monarchs improve to 5-6 while the Pacers fall to 5-6. Matt Mellinger led the King's offense with three hits, two runs, and two runs batted in. Shawn Stone had two hits, two RBI, and two runs scored while Dan Hartson had two hits and scored four times.

USMMA defeated non-conference opponent Baruch, 7-5, at MCU Park in Coney Island, Brooklyn. The Mariners improve to 11-2 on the season with the victory, while the Bearcats fall to 3-11-1. Merchant Marine held a 7-4 lead going into the bottom of the ninth when Baruch threatened by loading the bases with one out. The Mariners were able to escape with limited damage for the victory, as the Bearcats scored just once.
Chicago used a big offensive third inning and a solid start from senior Ricardo Fernandez to defeat Mary Hardin-Baylor in the Maroons' first game in Texas, winning 13-6. The Maroons (6-3) captured their sixth-straight win in the process, scoring eight runs in the third frame to take a commanding 11-0 lead early. Fernandez threw the game's first four innings, giving up just three hits, walking two, and striking out three while only allowing one earned run. Sophomore Patrick Rogers was credited with the win in his fifth-inning appearance, while Bakhai gave up just three hits, one earned run, didn't walk a batter and struck out seven of the 15 batters he faced. The Maroons totaled 16 hits on the day, led by three players with three hits each
Senior RHP Sam Kosterich allowed no runs on four hits in eight innings to capture his first win of the season and lead the visiting Eastern Connecticut State Warriors to a 6-0 win over the Trinity (Conn.) Bantams in Trinity's baseball home opener on Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium. The Warriors improve to 5-4, and the Bantams fall to 2-5 with their third setback in a row. The Warrior offense scored early as junior Ryan Hood doubled in the first at-bat of the game, and classmate Alex Parkos scored him on a sacrifice fly to left field. Parkos recorded two more RBI's in the third inning on a two-out single to center field, and the Warriors tacked on two more runs in the fourth inning and one in the fifth. Hood had two doubles and junior Alexander White singled twice for the Eastern Connecticut offense.
Pacific Lutheran had an explosive start to its midweek Northwest Conference tilt against Puget Sound, rolling to the 15-9 victory at PLU Field. Connor Cantu and Jacob Bockelie had three hits with Cantu leading the effort with five runs scored and Bockelie driving in six.
