New England College extended their win streak to 13 games with a 21-5 victory in game one but would fall in game two, 6-0 to split their doubleheader with NAC rival Castleton on Tuesday. The Pilgrims are 14-4 on the season with a 3-1 record in the North Atlantic Conference while Castleton with go to 7-8 overall with a 1-1 record in the NAC. The Pilgrims bats backed a strong start from Nick Powers with an 11 run third in games one, but could not take advantage of their opportunities in the nightcap. NEC left nine runners on base, including three in the seventh and final inning.

New Jersey City University scored three runs in three different innings and received a sensational relief appearance from junior left-handed pitcher Kyle McCabe as the Gothic Knights (10-5) won for the 10th time this season with an 11-5 non-conference win over Wesley (6-12) in the rain at Bob Reed Field. In the first meeting between the programs in Delaware, NJCU led 4-0 after two innings, scored three more in the fourth and put the game away with a three-run sixth inning. McCabe, in his first year for NJCU, picked up his first save and he earned it, tossing 4.0 shutout innings of relief, scattering just two hits with a strikeout and walk while facing 12 batters.
Coltrane Tait recorded four extra base hits and was 5-for-5 at the plate as New York University rolled to a 13-7 victory over the City College of New York, at MCU Park in Brooklyn. Tait's big offensive day helped the Violets improve to 17-4 this season, while the Beavers fell to 7-8. Five different Violets pitched in the win, including Joseph Prisco, who tossed three scoreless innings and earned his first-career win.
Led by Dave Murphy's 3-for-5 day the ninth ranked Beacons earned an 11-9 non-conference win over Worcester State on a rainy afternoon at Monan Park. Between the two teams there were 16 walks issued and 20 runners left on base respectively. UMass Boston now leads the series with the Lancers 21-20 having won 7 of their last nine meetings with Worcester and are undefeated against the Lancers at Monan Park.
No. 22 Shenandoah ran its baseball winning streak to five games with a 4-1 ODAC win at Washington and Lee. Senior Michael Bugonowicz tossed a complete game six-hitter to pitch the Hornets (15-6, 6-3) to its fifth win in as many outings. After W&L (9-17, 2-10) scored one run in the second, SU tied it with a single run in the fifth before putting up a three-spot in the sixth. Henry Delavergne drove in what proved to be the game-winning run on a single to center with Keegan Woolford and Luke Nussman following with an RBI single and a sacrifice fly, respectively.
The Lewis & Clark Pioneers used 26 different student-athletes in Tuesday's 7-0 win over the Pacific Boxers at Huston Sports Complex. The non-Northwest Conference victory gives the Pios back-to-back wins for the first time since beating Linfield on Mar. 17 in both games of their series opener. Five different Pioneers had at least one RBI including Matt Donovan, who went 3 for 4 from the plate with a pair of RBI and runs scored. Donovan has multiple hits in 12 different games this season, tied with Sean Shepherd for the team high, and picked up his fifth with three hits or more. He extended his on-base streak to six.
It was a milestone game for three members of Johns Hopkins as Mike Smith knocked in his 100th career RBI and Tim Kutcher and Austin Sacks both hit their first collegiate home runs in the Blue Jays 6-1 victory over McDaniel. Hopkins is 32-3 at home against the Green Terror under head coach Bob Babb and hold an 89-61 advantage in the all-time series having won the last seven meetings. Smith becomes just the 25th player in team history to notch 100 RBI.
Covenant snapped an eight-game losing streak with a comeback win in game one before falling in the finale to visiting Sewanee on Tuesday afternoon. The Scots rallied back from a 7-1 deficit to win game one 8-7, but Sewanee would work a split of the twin-bill with a 10-4 victory in the second game. Covenant goes to 10-21 on the year, while Sewanee is now 9-19 overall. A wild game saw Covenant go down 7-1, before tying the game in the fourth, then winning the contest on a walk-off wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh for an 8-7 victory. In game two, Sewanee would hold a big lead and not allow a Covenant comeback as the Tigers split the doubleheader with a 10-4 win.
Sophomore Shawn Nickles had season highs with four hits and four RBI as eighth-ranked Randolph-Macon outscored No. 11 Methodist 17-9. The Yellow Jackets improved to 17-3-1, while the Monarchs fell to 22-7. R-MC pounded out 20 hits, as seven different players had multiple hits. Sophomore Reece Yeargain went 3 for 5 with three runs and two RBI, while junior Jeff Butler had three hits and two runs.
Texas-Dallas jumped out to a big early lead, but had to hold on late for a 13-9 midweek win at McMurry. The Comets plated five runs in the top of the 1st and secured a 7-0 lead by the middle of the second, but found themselves with just a three-run cushion heading into the 6th. UTD added three insurance runs in the top of the 7th to pull away and secure the non-conference win.
