Frank LoGiudice was 3-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored to lead Kean to a 13-9 marathon win over the College at Brockport on Sunday afternoon. The matchup was almost four hours long as the runs came in clusters. Kean improves to 3-0 to start the season while Brockport falls to 0-1 in their opener. For the Cougars Nick Polizzano finished with three RBI while Derek Walker was 2-for-4 with three runs scored in the leadoff spot. Anthony Eaton was 3-for-4 with three RBI for Brockport in the loss.
No. 4 Trinity (Texas) finished off a weekend series against Birmingham-Southern with a 5-4 extra-inning victor.y In the bottom of the 10th, Trinity started with a pair of singles and a walk to load the bases. Birmingham got the first out on an infield pop-up, but Jake Martin gave the Tigers their second walkoff win of the young season with his RBI single to right field to end the game. Jake Martin finished the series with a 3-6 afternoon.
Patrick Hope drove in Drew Schacht with a deep base hit in the bottom of the 11th inning, giving the Colonels a 2-1 win against Berea at Gary Wright Field.Both sides had opportunities to score in extra innings, but it wasn't until the bottom of the 11 that either crossed the plate.With the bases full and only one out, Hope sent a ball to deep right center near the warning track, bringing in Schacht, who had singled earlier in the frame. Schacht also earned the win on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while allowing just two hits and no runs.
After a pair of victories over Big Blue Saturday afternoon, Hendrix looked to bring out the brooms Sunday with a third and final game against Millikin. After trailing 1-0, the Warriors bounced back with a pair of runs in the fourth thanks to a RBI triple by Andrei Stoyanow. Sean Dehne and Tanner Cooper recorded two two-out hits in the ninth inning trialing by a pair of runs to tie the game up before Rail Gilliam recorded his first walk-off hit in the bottom of the 10th with the bases loaded as Hendrix defeated Millikin for the third time this weekend, 5-4.
In the final game of the Early Spring Tournament, Piedmont may not have been inside Loudermilk Field but the magic was still at work in a comeback win over Pacific Lutheran 8-5. The Lions used a four-run seventh inning to claim the lead and another stellar effort by the bullpen led the charge. Piedmont's bullpen allowed just two hits over the final five innings of play.

Ferrum completed a three-game weekend sweep over SUNY-Oneonta with a 16-2 win at Panther Field. Nathaniel Anthony, Brandon Roberts and Jake Martin scored a run each in the first inning, then Corey Stoneman belted a two-run homer to left field in the second inning to give the Panthers a 5-1 lead. Ferrum tacked on three runs in the fourth inning, two courtesy of Jake Martin's RBI single to left field, and the rout was on.
Oglethorpe got an outstanding offensive performance at a rain-soaked Anderson Field, breaking one individual single-game record and tying another, but they had to hold on to beat George Fox 19-13 in a wild slugfest. The Stormy Petrels led 12-1 early in the game, but they hung tight to the lead as the visiting Bruins brought the potential tying run to the plate late. The top four spots in the Oglethorpe order really came alive on Sunday, as that group collected all 11 Petrel hits. That group included a couple of Petrels who either tied or broke Oglethorpe single-game records. Senior first baseman Jack Bartlewski broke a program single-game record by collecting eight RBIs on the day. He went 4-for-5 at the plate with a grand slam, a triple, a sacrifice fly, and a pair of runs scored. Senor right fielder Patrick Burnette scored five runs to tie the program single-game record. He went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer, two walks and five RBIs on the day.
No. 22 Salisbury continued its hot start to the season on Sunday afternoon when it defeated Stevens Institute of Technology at Sea Gull Baseball Stadium, 9-1. Following a first inning run, the Ducks never had an answer for Salisbury starting pitcher Clayton Dwyer, who was able to settle in and deliver a dominating seven full innings, including 11 strikeouts while surrendering only four hits and two walks.
Carson Cox finished the day 4-for-6 with an RBI and a run scored as Concordia Texas split a pair of games against Redlands at Tornado Field. The Tornados started the day with a 5-3 come-from-behind win but could not push the winning streak to six as they fell 4-0 in game two for their first loss of the season. In game one, CTX picked up a comeback victory thanks to two runs in the fifth and one in the sixth in the seven-inning affair. Redlands turned the tables in the second game of the day, making the most of four hits to grab the win.

The University of the Ozarks offense pounded out 16 hits and Breyden Varner drove in seven runs to help the Eagles overcome a seven-run third inning from Westminster (Mo.) and secure a wild 15-11 win in game one of Sunday's doubleheader. Varner recorded seven RBI behind a home run, double and single in five trips to the plate. With darkness settling in heading into the ninth, game two was suspended with the Eagles leading 12-8.
Jaxsen Sweum went 3-3 at the plate and Whitworth pitchers combined to throw a one-hit shutout as the Pirates concluded their trip to the Atlanta area with a 10-0 neutral-site win over Millsaps at Oglethorpe. Ryan Kingma improved to 2-0 this season after going six innings and allowing only one hit by the Majors. He struck out seven batters and walked one. Jake Briones and Taylor Roelofs combined to throw three innings of hitless relief.
Texas-Tyler came away with a 4-0 shutout victory over NCAA Division II opponent Cameron in the third and final game of the series. Austin Schneider picked up the win to move to 2-0 on the season while he also kept his earned run average at 0.00 for the season in 6.1 innings of action. Schneider did not allow a hit on Sunday while Matthew McMillan surrendered the only to Aggie hits of the afternoon in his three innings of work. McMillan did strike out four batters while freshman right-handed pitcher Zachary Fernandez pitched the final 1.2 innings and struck out three in his collegiate debut.
Trailing 4-3 after three innings of play, LeTourneau would score at least one run in each of the final four innings including a three-run sixth to double up the University of Dallas 12-6 at Crusader Field. The victory gives LETU the series victory over the Crusaders. LeTourneau would reach the double-digit hit mark for the third time this season, collecting 12 total hits with four of the 12 hits going for extra-bases. The Crusaders would be limited to just six hits total with only one hit going for extra-bases. A four-for-five effort from center fielder Jacob Jones would lead the way for the YellowJackets, as the senior would also drive in a pair of runs and score three times.
Each of the Puget Sound's one-through-four batters in the lineup collected multiple hits as the Loggers picked up its first win of the season with a 5-3 non-conference victory against Whitman at Pacific's home field. Connor Dunn, Jack Gries, Hunter Riley, and Mason Quinlan combined to hit 8-for-15 with a walk and two doubles. Gries and Quinlan each had the extra-base hit. Willamette scored four runs on five walks and two hit batsmen in the top of the ninth inning, as the Bearcats rallied from an 8-5 deficit to defeat Linfield, 9-8, in a non-conference game at Roy Helser Field. The Bearcats trailed 4-0 and 6-2 earlier in the game, before rallying past the Wildcats in the NWC Round Robin weekend. Whitman and Pacific dealt losses to Lewis and Clark Whitman win 6-4 and Pacifc, 9-2.
