| Clarks Summit (8-27) ended their season against Central Pennsylvania College (8-14) in a non-conference contest on Senior Day. Plenty of family and friends were on hand to cheer on the four Seniors from the Defenders. CSU won game one 13-3, using a five-run first to set the tone, then lost game two 8-7 in extra innings. Junior Jake Oliger hit a walk-off grand slam as part of a six-run, two-out rally in the bottom of the 10th inning to send No. 6 Babson past MIT 9-6 in NEWMAC Tournament action on Tuesday afternoon at Govoni Field. With its third straight win, third-seeded Babson improves to 33-6 and will face MIT (21-17-1) again on Wednesday in a winner-take-all NEWMAC Tournament final. Oliger finished the day 3-of-6 with four RBI, senior Connor Gill was 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored, and classmate Brian McHale doubled twice to go along with two runs scored and three RBI for the Beavers. Fellow senior Eric Jaun and junior Sean Harrington also chipped in with an RBI in the win.

Endicott defeated Salem State University, 5-3, on Tuesday evening in non-conference action at North Field. Endicott (23-18) starter Kevin Gould picked up the win (6-2) on seven innings, eight hits, three runs (all earned), two walks, and a game-high five strikeouts. Cooper Anibal also tossed a scoreless eighth inning, while Will Bryant converted his fifth save of the season with a shutdown ninth (0 H, 1 BB). Meanwhile, JP Reiling took the loss (0-1) via two innings of work, no hits, one run (earned), and two free passes.
Concordia Chicago took on Rockford in their final regular season game of the season. The Cougars already had clinched a NACC regular season title and are still hopeful to host the NCAA Regional. CUC got the job done from start to finish, sweeping the Regents by scores of 10-0 and 14-1. Records fell for the Cougars. With his 248th hit, Bryan Vanduser's first inning single broke the all-time CUC hit record while Jose Mercado reset his own single season stolen base record with 40. For the team their 35-5 regular season record and 21-1 NACC record are the best in program history. The 21-1 NACC record is also the best in conference history.
Wells made its first appearance in the NEAC playoffs and won a first-round game at Penn College on Tuesday. The Express broke through with five runs in the top of the third and went on to an 8-3 victory. The Express advances to this weekend's NEAC Championship, a double-elimination tournament for the four remaining teams hosted by top-seeded Keuka College. Details on the site and schedule will be available Wednesday. Wells scored eight runs on seven hits in the game. Anthony Aumick and Kevin Spaeth had two hits each. Spaeth scored three runs. Zach Kemp started for Wells and earned the victory to improve to 6-4 on the year. He pitched effectively over six innings allowing seven hits and two runs, one earned, with two strikeouts and no walks. Alexander Mott came on in the bottom of the seventh and worked three solid innings with four hits allowed and one earned run in the bottom of the ninth. He earned his second save of the season with one strikeout and no walks. Wells extended its program-best single-season wins total to 17 and has a 17-20 overall record on the year. Penn College, which finished fourth in the NEAC standings, is 14-22 overall.
Penn State Berks had its offense banging on all cylinders early as the Nittany Lions defeated SUNY Cobleskill, 18-5, in the first round of the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Postseason on Tuesday afternoon. Berks will advance to the four-team, double-elimination tournament this weekend hosted by Keuka College, where they will face Penn State Abington. The Nittany Lions scored three runs in the bottom of the first, followed by an 11-spot in the second to build an early 14-0 lead. Berks lead 18-2 after six innings, before the Fighting Tigers (16-22) tallied a single run in each of their final three at-bats.
Sophomore Connor Harding etched his name into The University of Scranton baseball program's record book with two hits to break the program record for most hits in a season (66), as the Royals opened a 4-1 lead in the first inning and never looked back in an 8-3 victory over Keystone on Tuesday night at Volpe Field. The three-run lead proved to be enough run support for a myriad of Scranton pitchers, as the Royals used a reliever in each inning of the game to keep the Keystone offense at bay all night. The closest Keystone came to the lead was two-runs (on two separate occasions), as Scranton blew open a 5-3 game in the eighth inning with three runs. With the win, the Royals moved to 17-20 overall for the year, while Keystone fell to 23-14 with the defeat.
Chicago dropped a 4-1 decision at Illinois-Chicago Tuesday night in nonleague play, but gave up just three hits to the Flames. The Maroons (23-10) are now off until Friday's start of the Midwest Conference Baseball Championships, set for Friday-Saturday in Galesburg, Ill., and Monmouth, Ill. UChicago first-year Benjamin Rosengard led the Maroon offense with two hits and classmate Brett Riegler had the team's lone RBI, a single to center field that put the visitors on the board in the top of the seventh. UChicago recorded five hits in the game, with senior Max Brzostowski and first-year Carson Weekley adding singles. In a staff day for the Maroon pitching staff, UChicago's seven pitchers combined to allow just three UIC hits, but walked nine.
