The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its ninth season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors. This is the first Team of the Week of the 2020 season.

C Hunter David, Sr. Louisiana Col.
David slashed .545/.773/1.182 to start the season behind the plate for Louisiana College. He score nine runs and drove in five on three extra-base hits (double, two home runs). He a perfect 1.000 with the glove, throwing out the only runner who attempted to steal an extra base.
1B Keegan Woolford, Sr., Shenandoah
Woolford batted .400 in two games, leading the Hornets to a 2-0 start to their season with wins over Misericordia. He hit two home runs, with four RBIs and three runs scored. Woolford was perfect in 12 chances.
2B Jackson Gazin, So., Washington and Lee
Gazin batted .727 on eight hits that included a double for a .818 slugging percentage. He scored five times and swiped six bases in three games.
SS Gabe Lopez, So., Maryville (Tenn.)
Lopez drove in ten runners with five extra-base hits (double, three triples, and a home run) in six games as the Scots started the year 5-1. He batted .429 with a .786 slugging percentage. Lopez added seven runs scored
3B Alex Cornman, Jr., Texas Lutheran
Cornman hit .615 and slugged 1.308 for the Bulldogs as they got off to a 4-2 start to the 2020 season. Five of Cornman's eight hits went for extra bases. he drove in six and had two doubles, two triples, and a home run. The home run, a solo shot in the ninth against Hardin-Simmons, proved to be the game-winning run.
OF Kevin Lo, So., Pomona-Pitzer
Lo batted .692 (9-for-13) as the Sagehens split their opening weekend with Whitworth. He score three and drove in five. With two doubles, he opened his season with a .846 slugging percentage.
OF Tyler Moore, Sr., Covenant
Moore had a great start to his senior year. batting .636 and slugging 1.000. Out of the leadoff spot, the outfielder scored five runs and stole a base. With two walks, he reached base at a .692 clip.
OF Henry Zeisler, Jr. Chapman
Zeisler dominated the opposing pitching with a .565 average and a 1.806 OPS. He added 12 RBIs and 10 runs as top ranked Chapman opened their title defense with a 7-0 record. He tied D-III record with two grand slams in the first game of the East Texas Baptist series.
DH Chris McNulty, Sr. Sewanee
In five games McNulty went 10-of-17 (.588 average) with three homers, 11 RBI and eight runs scored. Of his 10 hits, six went for extra bases (1.294 slugging).
SP Rahul Champanieri, Fr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Champanieri, pitched a complete-game, one-hit shutout in his collegiate debut to lead UMHB to a 2-0 win over Schreiner. He struck out eight and walked just one. The only hit he allowed was a second inning bloop single as he held the Mountaineers to an .045 batting average as a team.
SP Alexander Rivas, So., Cal Lutheran
Rivas was brilliant in two starts. Against Texas-Dallas he pitched six innings, scattering five hits and two walks, striking out six. Against Caltech he went six innings without allowing a run again. The sophomore racked up eight strikeouts and surrendered just two hits, extending his scoreless-inning streak to 12 innings on the season.
SP Matt Voelzke, Sr., George Fox
Voelzke allowed two hits and no walks in six innings in a 15-7 win over No. 23 Concordia-Texas. He left after six innings with a 8-0 lead, having struckout 12.
RP Ryan Hill, Sr., Guilford
Hill helped the Quakers pick up a 4-3 win over Brevard with 3.2 frames of solid relief pitching in his first (and only) appearance of the season. Entering in the fourth inning, he worked out of a one-out jam with runners on the corners with the Quakers trailing, 2-0. Hill fanned five of the 12 batters he faced and did not allow a hit or base-on-balls.
