Cabrini cruised to their fifth consecutive victory this afternoon, in a 11-1 win over Wesley, thanks to a pair dominant performances from junior Jonathan Baker and senior Mack McKisson. The former tossed his second complete game of the season, this one of the nine inning variety, for his team leading fourth win of the season. The Cavaliers' ace scattered seven hits and allowed just one earned, while striking out three. He induced a season high 15 ground ball outs, and at one time retired 14 consecutive batters. McKisson meanwhile, turned in a career performance with seven RBIs, including his 100th career RBI. The veteran highlighted his record breaking feat with a fourth inning grand slam to put him over the century mark. He added a double and a run scored to round out his day

Berry took a pair from Birmingham-Southern on Friday, winning 12-10 in the first game before a pitching duel saw the Vikings prevailing in the nightcap, 1-0. The pitching headliner for Berry was Patrick O'Rourke who scattered seven hits in six inings to get the game two win. In game one Tyler Calvert drove in a reun in three of the first four innings for the Vikings, finishing with five hits and five RBIs. Luke DePiero was the top offensive threat for BSC on the day, logging five hits (the only Panther with a multi-hit game in both) while driving in four runs, scoring twice, and legging out a double.

Marymount University's offense surged behind a strong start from Ryan Bergenhagen on Friday afternoon, as the Saints rolled to an 11-3 win over Neumann University. The victory pushed MU's record to 11-3 overall and 9-1 in Atlantic East Conference play. Neumann's overall record moved to 5-5 and fell to 2-5 in conference action. Bergenhagen turned in a masterful performance for MU on the mound. The senior surrendered just two runs over seven innings of work, one of which was earned. The 6-foot-1-inch-tall righty mowed through the Knights en route to a career-best 10 strikeouts. The Saints responded to Bergenhagen's performance with a fireworks show at the dish. MU blasted five homeruns against the Knights to fuel its offense. Alex Lemery was the main culprit with a pair of no-doubt shots over the wall. The junior finished the day 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one walk.

Webster University continued its strong play in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Friday evening as the No. 4 ranked Gorloks posted back-to-back 11-0 wins in eight innings to sweep a doubleheader from Greenville University at Robert E. Smith Field. With the doubleheader sweep, Webster improves its record to 21-5 overall and 16-2 in the SLIAC and extends its win streak in league play to seven consecutive games, while Greenville falls to 4-19 overall and 4-10 in the league. Both of the Friday's game were halted after eight innings due to the 10-run mercy rule as the Gorloks scored four runs in the top of the eighth inning to post the 11-0 win in the opener and then scored two runs in the top of the eighth in the nightcap to post the 11-0 win. Webster's two wins are aided by an offense that recorded 23 hits on the day, including 10 extra-base hits and scored 11 runs in each game.

Dalton Watts had a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate with six RBI as the Concordia-Texas Tornados split the series-opening doubleheader with Sul Ross State on Friday. Watts returned to the diamond after missing the last five games and immediately began producing runs at the plate, recording three base knocks and driving in six runs for CTX. Game one was a high scoring affair from the first inning on, but an eight-run seventh inning from CTX put the Lobos in the rearview. Concordia Texas took the first game of the doubleheader 17-8. In a tie game in the ninth, SRSU delivered a walk-off homerun, and CTX fell 5-4 in game two.

After a layoff of over two weeks, the College of Mount Saint Vincent returned to the field on Friday morning, taking on Yeshiva University in a Skyline Conference double header on Long Island. The Dolphins didn't miss a beat, as they swept the Maccabees by the scores of 18-0 and 24-0, picking up two conference wins along the way. After Michael Grisanti's two home run performance against Yeshiva University on Friday afternoon, the junior third baseman became the all-time leading home run hitter in program history with 10. The Massapequa, New York product surpassed CMSV Hall of Famer John McManus '10, who held the record for over a decade. "What Mike has been able to accomplish to this point in his career has been incredible," said head coach John Muller. "What has been even more awesome is his commitment towards his development and this program. He's a true leader and a special talent, I can't wait to wittiness the many more accomplishments he has in front of him."

Fifth-year senior pitcher Pierce Banks was dominant on the mound yet again and sophomore AJ Miranda paced the offense as nationally No. 20-ranked Adrian routed host Calvin in the first game of a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association baseball doubleheader, 10-2. Adrian also was victorious in Friday's nightcap, 10-9, coming from behind after blowing a 7-0 lead after 1-1/2 innings to extend the Bulldogs' winning streak to 14 games. In the opener, Miranda went 3-for-4 with five runs batted in while fifth-year senior Gunner Rainey was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI. Seniors Thomas Miller, Ty Peck and Brady Wood also had two hits apiece to power the Bulldogs' 13-hit attack. In the nightcap, Adrian took advantage of a Calvin error to plate a pair of unearned runs to knot the score 6-6 in the sixth inning. Wood and Rainey each scored via a wild pitch. In the seventh inning, Miller homered to left field to put the Bulldogs back on top 10-9 to account for the final margin.

Messiah earned a 5-1 victory in the first game of a doubleheader against the Eastern Eagles on Friday afternoon. Messiah built an early lead after a Clayton Roberts single in the bottom of the first. Roberts then scored in the third to double the lead and make it 2-0. Eastern cut the gap to 2-1 in the fifth, but Billy Davis delivered the big hit of the afternoon with a bases clearing double to drive home three runs. Luke Luckenbaugh earned his second victory of the season with six strong innings on the hill. Luckenbaugh scattered five hits while allowing one run and striking out seven. Trent Culver came in from centerfield to close the game out, striking out two in his inning of work to give Messiah the 5-1 victory. Eastern evened up the series with a 2-1 co=me-from-behind win in the mightcap. Two walks to open the seventh were the downfall for Messiah as both came around to score.

Ramapo College split a NJAC doubleheader at Kean University. The Roadrunners (5-5 overall, 4-4 NJAC) came back in game one with a 2-1 victory while the Cougars (9-8 overall, 4-4 NJAC) held on to an 8-7 win in game two. In game one, Kean starting pitcher Kevin Stewart recorded a no-hitter through six innings and was lifted before the Roadrunners recorded a hit. Stewart earned a no-decision in the game with eight strikeouts and four walks for the Cougars. Kean scored their lone run in the bottom of the third inning when Christian Pellone lifted a sac fly to left field which allowed Frank LoGiudice to score for an early 1-0 lead. In the top of the eighth, Harold Calero led off with a single before pinch runner TJ Roman came into the game. With one out, Justin Grippo took the second pitch he saw laced it over the left field fence for a two-run home run as Ramapo took a 2-1 lead. In game two, Kean got on the board in the top of the first, added three runs in the top of the fourth and four runs in the top of the fifth for an 8-3 lead. Ramapo tacked one run in the bottom of the eighth to cut into the Cougar's lead. In the bottom of the ninth the Roadrunner put runners on second and third with no outs. A double and sac fly netted the Roadrunners their sixth and seventh runs of the game. Kean would stop the Ramapo comeback with a strikeout to end the game and earn the 8-7 win.

Immaculata remained home on Friday afternoon to square off against Atlantic East rival Marywood. Immaculata used home runs from Isaiah Payton and Josh Crowding to defeat the rival Pacers by a final of 6-2 on Friday afternoon. Freshman Alex Singer made his first career start on Friday afternoon, tossing four innings surrendering two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out four.

After a combined 52 runs and 6:20 of game action, No. 22 William Paterson (16-3, 7-1 NJAC) completed a sweep of New Jersey City (3-16, 1-7 NJAC), 14-3 and 22-13. The Pioneers were the home team for the first game, and the visiting team for the second game, during a doubleheader at Jeff Albies Field that featured two bouts of hail as well as numerous rounds of rain showers.

University of Dubuque continues to make their games as interesting as possible, splitting the opening doubleheader with Central College on Friday. The Dutch would take game one 8-7 before UD would return the favor in game two with an 8-7 win of their own. In a wild first game of the series, it was the Central bats coming up clutch late to send the Spartans to a 8-7 defeat in game one. Central doubled the amount of hits the Spartans had in game two, but the Spartans took advantage of Dutch miscues and came up with timely hits when needed to grab an 8-7 win of their own and splitting the first of two doubleheaders between the teams.

Jonathan Fisher came through with a clutch two-run single during a momentum-turning eighth-inning rally before making a game-saving play at shortstop in the ninth to help close out a wild 8-7 victory on Friday as Christopher Newport swept a brief two-game series against No. 7 N.C. Wesleyan at Captains Park. Coming through when it mattered most, Fisher punched a hit through the left side of the infield to cap off a three-run surge in the eighth, which gave the Captains their first lead of the game. Then, the sophomore made a diving play in the hole during a bases-loaded jam in the ninth, which helped stunt N.C. Wesleyan's rally before Jack Rosenberg retired the game's final two batters to seal the victory. Along with the late-game heroes, Jay Cassady launched a three-run blast in the fourth inning, which helped dig Christopher Newport out of an early four-run hole. Meanwhile, Connor Clark added three hits and a stolen base, while Eric O'Brien also chipped in with two hits and gunned down a pair of would-be base-stealers. The victory marked Christopher Newport's third against a top-10 opponent in the past week. In addition to the squad's sweep against the Battling Bishops, the Captains also knocked off No. 3 Salisbury last Friday in Maryland.

TCNJ split with Stockton University in a Friday afternoon NJAC doubleheader at George Ackerman Park, taking the first game, 6-3, before falling in game two 5-4. Chris Cote had three hits and Jack Haynes had three RBIs as the Lions took game one, 6-3. Haynes got the first of those RBIs in the fourth, with the Lions leading, 2-1. He grounded out to second, scoring Avery Epstein to make it 3-1. Epstein reached base four times with a hit, two hit batsmen and a walk. He also scored three runs. TCNJ served as the visitors in game two as the makeup to Thursday's rainout at Stockton, and the Lions took a 3-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning. Stockton rallied to score five unanswered runs, plating a pair in the sixth and three more in the seventh. That set the stage for an entertaining top of the ninth inning where TCNJ fell a run short in their comeback attempt.

Sophomore Nolan Maccabe stole his way into the Averett University record book, while the Cougars tied the program record with nine stolen bases in their 10-9 USA South Conference victory over Mary Baldwin University on Friday. Maccabe, Logan Albertson and Kyle Wilson all finished with two hits for the Cougars, while sophomore David Asbill earned his first collegiate victory in relief and senior Cole Spain struck out five batters out of the bullpen. Maccabe tied the program record with four stolen bases in the victory. Matching Averett Hall of Famer Gene Yost, Adam Higgins, Kyle Vidano and most recently Dallas Smithers who tied the record against William Peace University in 2016. Additionally the Cougars nine stolen bases as a team tied the program record set against New York University-Poly back in 2011.
