St. Mary's College of Maryland (8-8) traveled to Gallaudet University this afternoon for a United East Conference contest. The Seahawks were able to cruise by the Bison 27-8.

With a pair of wins over Yeshiva (2-19, 0-14 Skyline) on Friday, Maritime College improved to 16-6 on the year, the best start in program history. The Privateers (8-2 Skyline) scored 11 runs in the first inning of game one, a contest they eventually won 14-0, before taking game two at Reinhart Baseball Field by a 15-1 count. Maritime sent 14 batters to the plate in the first inning of game one with the first 12 all reaching base safely, and the rout was on. In game two, it was more of the same as ten different Privateers scored a run. The highlight for the Maccabees was senior Max Leibowitz as he went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles in game two, while scoring a run and stealing a base. The Los Angeles native is now hitting .333 this season.

Danny Coleman homered twice and drove in eight runs as nationally sixth-ranked Cortland defeated visiting Brockport, 15-2, in the opening game of a SUNYAC doubleheader at Wallace Field. Brockport won the scheduled seven-inning second game, 3-1 in eight innings. Coleman's eight RBI are the most by a Red Dragon player since Tyler Phillips drove in eight runs versus Keystone in a 2017 NCAA playoff game. Brockport starter Andrew Huffman entering the game having allowed only one unearned run in 32 and a third innings. He fell to 5-1 on the spring after allowing seven hits, one walk and eight runs, all earned, with two strikeouts over three and a third innings. The second game featured a pitching duel between Brockport's Kretzler and Cortland's Ryan Flansburg, who each held the opposition scoreless through the first six innings. Brockport's winning rally began with two outs and no one on. The Golden Eagles drew three consecutive walks by Justin Pangburn, James Houlahan and Ryan Mansell, and Kretzler doubled just over the bag at third off reliever Shane Mugnolo to drive in two runs.

Haverford College (12-11, 3-1 CC) recorded a nearly flawless outing on Friday afternoon at Kannerstein Field, grabbing a 6-0 win over the Shoremen of Washington College (14-11, 0-4 CC) behind a stellar turn on the mound from a pair of talented flamethrowers. Sophomore Mike Rabayda (3-3) and junior Josh Fuller combined to take a no-hitter into the ninth inning, with Cael Magill lashing a clean single to right field to lead off the final frame, dashing Haverford's hopes of the first combined no-hitter in program history and the first overall since Adam Huron hurled seven no-hit frames against Hiram on March 8, 2004. Rabayda was brilliant from the start, as he worked around a one-out walk in the first frame before setting down the next 15 batters he faced. The dominating stretch included eight of his nine total strikeouts in the contest. Impressively, all nine strikeouts were swinging strikeouts, as Rabayda consistently missed bats as the Shoremen went back to the bench searching for answers.

University of Redlands opened up a three-game non-conference series Friday afternoon with a 13-3 run-rule victory over Lewis & Clark. The Bulldogs continue to look solid here in the month of April extending their winning streak to three games, two of which were run-rules. They are now 15-10, 5-7 SCIAC. Redlands led 10-0 after five innings and secured the win thanks to a three-run sixth. Tyler Reiter pitched his best game of the season allowing seven hits with five walks, five strikeouts, and two runs (both unearned) across six innings as he picked up his third win on the season. The Bulldogs have now hit the double-digit mark in hits and runs in a single game for the 15th time this season and are now 14-1 in those contests. This afternoon they scored 13 runs on 15 hits.

In the first of a three-game series with visiting Lancaster Bible College, Penn State Abington hit five home runs on its way to a 16-3 victory over the first place Chargers in United East Conference action on Friday afternoon at Alverthorpe Park. Abington blew the game wide open within the first inning of play. Chase Swain and Justin Fogel opened the inning with back-to-back singles. Ryan McCarty followed with a sacrifice fly to drive in the game's first run. From there, four home runs accounted for the Nittany Lions' next six runs in the inning. McCarty's third inning grand slam marked his 14th home run of the season which is now tops in NCAA Division III. He finished 2-for-4 at the plate with two runs and six RBI; one shy of his season and career-high.

Graduate student Hunter Silvernail homered twice, first-year Jordan Fisse and two relievers combined on a five-hitter andStevens Institute of Technology snapped No. 17 Arcadia University's 12-game winning streak with a 5-4 victory Friday in a MAC Freedom matchup at Dobbelaar Field. Graduate student Thomas Paulich homered and junior Ben Tobio had two hits and stole a base for the Ducks, who won their sixth straight to improve to 20-7 on the year and to 8-2 in conference play. The victory moved Stevens to the 20-win threshold for the eighth time under 11th-year head coach Kristaps Aldins.

Nationally-ranked UT Dallas continued lighting up the scoreboard Friday afternoon, dominating the University of the Ozarks, 18-3, in the opening game of an American Southwest Conference weekend series. The Comets (21-6, 14-5 ASC) claimed their fourth straight win, assaulting the Eagles (8-19, 7-12 ASC) with a 20-hit assault that included six extra base hits. During the four-game stretch - which included an ASC sweep at Sul Ross last weekend - UTD has put up 75 hits and scored 62 runs in just 33 innings of action. The Comets are now hitting .335 as a team with 11 hitters boasting batting averages of .300 or better. Eight of the nine Comet starters had multi-hit games with catcher Deylan Moreno leading the way with a 4-for-6 afternoon that included a pair of doubles. Second baseman Ramon Garza (now hitting .404) belted his sixth home run of the year while A.J. Liu, Zac Vorst and Hunter Cheek were a combined 7-for-14 and drove in 10 runs.

Kean University used two complete game efforts from their starting pitching to sweep Stockton University 9-0 & 8-1 on Friday afternoon in NJAC action. Nolan Rowan (4-0) spun a two hit, complete game shutout in the opener, carrying a perfect game into the fifth inning. Thomas Elgrim broke it up with a single with two outs in the top of the inning. Dylan Taliaferro saved the bullpen with the second complete game effort of the day for the Cougars. Taliaferro (5-0) allowed just one run and eight hits with no walks and four strikeouts.

Riding 16 strikeouts from its pitching staff and timely hitting, Texas Lutheran defeated Austin College, 8-5, in the series opener Friday night at Baker Field in Sherman, Texas. Texas Lutheran (20-7, 9-1 SCAC) collected its ninth straight overall win and tenth straight road win. Joe Burch toed the rubber for the Bulldogs, tossing seven innings and striking out 14 batters, allowing five runs on eight hits. Burch would pick up his SCAC-leading fifth win of the season and move into first in the conference in strikeouts with 62 on the season. Joseph De Luna would relieve Burch in the eighth striking out two batters and allowing one walk in an inning of work. Blade Strzelczyk would enter the game in the ninth inning, tossing a flawless inning to pick up his fifth save of the season. Six Bulldogs starters got a hit in the game and three drove in a run, highlighted by a 2-for-4, four RBI game from Joe Jimenez.

After falling behind 5-0 during the top of the first inning, William Paterson (14-8, 1-2 NJAC) reeled off 27 unanswered runs to defeat The College of New jersey (10-8, 2-1 NJAC), 28-7. The Lions scored five times with two outs during the top of the first inning, stringing together four singles and a pair of doubles. The Pioneers would put up a crooked number in the next five innings to take a 27-5 lead. The Pioneers outhit the Lions 22-18.

A pair of close contests would go the way of Elmira College as the Soaring Eagles swept an Empire 8 doubleheader against Houghton, 6-5 & 7-5, on Friday afternoon at Corning Community College. in the opener, Elmira scored the first four runs of game one and three runs in the fourth inning and extended EC's lead to 6-4 with an RBI single in the sixth inning. David Kruis recorded his fourth save of the season despite allowing a run in the seventh inning. Jarod Signorelli and Myles Littlejohn delivered run-scoring hits to give Elmira a 4-1 lead in game two. Brett Warden cleared the bases for the Purple & Gold with a triple in the seventh inning that would prove to be the game-winning hit.

Despite falling behind 5-1 early on, Buena Vista used a big five-run seventh inning and overcame four errors, defensively, to rally against Simpson College and take the opener of a three-game series over the Storm by the final of 6-5 on Friday night. Mason Gehling came on to relieve starter Morgan Smith to begin the bottom of the fifth and pitched two scoreless innings, allowing no hits and striking out five to earn the win and move to 3-2 on the year. Eight of the nine starters recorded at least one hit for the Beavers, who held a 10-6 advantage overall. All six of the Storm hits were singles. Caden Mathewson and Logan Mueller each had two of BVU's base knocks with Mueller also scoring twice.

Sul Ross State opened a three-game road series with a 9-0 victory over Howard Payne. "It's been a long three weeks," said head coach Bobby Mesker. "It was going to take great team at bats filled with two-strike grinds, two-out hits, two-out RBI, and pressure bunts if needed. Plus a quality start. That's exactly what we got today." Sam Russell was electric on the bump, striking out 10 and walking one in nine innings of work. Orlando Moreno, Jorge Marquez and Carsen Thor led the game with three hits each. Moreno scored a game-best three runs and also led the day with three RBI. The win ends a nine-game losing streak, putting the Lobos at 11-14 on the season and 8-11 in conference. Howard Payne drops to 8-20 and 4-15.

A seven-run seventh inning and a standout relief effort from Jackson Rau lifted Covenant to a 7-3, series-opening, win at Piedmont on a chilly Friday night at Loudermilk Field in USA South action. It is the second straight conference series that Covenant (11-15, 3-7 USA South) has claimed the opener. Jackson Rau (1-0) allowed just three hits over his four innings of work and struck out a career-high seven. Covenant pitching struck out 10 Lions on the night as starter Bryce Bollinger had three in his five innings of work. Zeke Gilbert had two of the Scots' five hits on the night while Josh Harvey, Ken Burke, and Andrew Brock each had a hit.

The Lesley Lynx got their revenge on the Dean College Bulldogs on Friday afternoon, taking them down by a score of 15-6. The second win in a row for the Lynx bring them to 11-14, while the Bulldogs drop to 5-14. After a low-scoring affair in their recent loss to Dean, the Lynx were taking no chances early. They put up seven runs in the second inning and cruised to an eventual win. Three hit batters in the inning led to loaded bases and Lesley's first run, with Matt Ceruti getting the RBI on the bases loaded plunk. Dylan Langston earned the win for the Lynx, going five innings and allowing one run while striking out seven batters.

St. Joseph's College (L.I.) salvaged a Skyline Conference split with SUNY Old Westbury on the road on Friday evening. The Golden Eagles (10-6, 9-1 Skyline) suffered an 11-4 loss to the Panthers (7-17, 5-7 Skyline) in game one before coming away with a 10-8 win in the nightcap. The Panthers built a 8-3 lead. After an OW sacrifice fly in the fifth, the Golden Eagles pushed a run across in the top of the fifth but a run in the bottom half of the fifth and sixth sent the Panthers to an 11-4 win. game two was tied until St. Joseph's batted around in the top of the seventh stringing together five hits for five runs to go ahead 10-5. Old Westbury plated a run in the bottom of the seventh before scoring two in the eighth, but SJC's Nicholas Dellitalia came in with the bases loaded and retired the final two outs ending the threat. The reliever sat the Panthers down in order in the ninth to pick up his first save of the season.

Pomona-Pitzer defeated SCIAC opponent Whittier College 18-10 on game one of their three-game series on Friday afternoon at Whittier. The Sagehens were led by Nate Jakobs and Jimmy Legg who each notched three hits on the night while Jackson Fleming, Ryan Nishi, Isaac Kim and JC Ng all tallied multi-hit games as well with Kim getting five RBI's. With Whittier within three late, the Sagehens needed to put up some insurance runs and did so in a big way with a grand slam from Kim to bring the lead to 16-9 in the eighth. The Sagehens went on to add two more with a two-run homer from Caleb Millikan as the Sagehens opened their series against Whittier with a win.

Penn State Harrisburg opened a three-game series against United East foe Penn State Berks with a convincing 11-1 victory on Friday afternoon. Penn State Harrisburg (11-14, 8-2 United East) got back on track with a sizable win over conference foe Penn State Berks (9-11, 3-7 United East) in the first contest of a three-game weekend series on Friday afternoon. Drew Harshbarger was spectacular on the mound, earning the win after striking out 13 batters in seven innings of work. Kevin Lehner went 3-for-4 with a home run, while Matt Parks added a solo shot and three RBI.

The 21st-ranked Trinity Tigers opened up a three-game Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference weekend series against the University of St. Thomas with a 5-0 shutout victory on Friday night. Joseph Chavana notched his second straight complete-game shutout to improve to 5-1 this season. Chavana tossed a two-hitter a career-best nine-inning outing, striking out six batters. Brian Schaub picked up two of Trinity's five hits on the night, including a two-run homer in the sixth that put the Tigers in front 4-0 at the time. Schaub was 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored.

A bounce back victory for New York University's opened the Violets' University Athletic Association series at Brandeis University on Friday afternoon in Waltham, MA. NYU snapped its three-game skid with a comeback, 13-12 triumph over the Judges to open a four-game set between the two sides this weekend. Each Violet who stepped up to the plate recorded a hit and nine drove in at least one run in what became a slugfest at Stein Diamond. Ninth inning heroics prevailed for NYU as Richard Beggy singled home Cam Dunn to make it a one-run game. Grant Berman then reached on an error for another tally before Nick Argenziano walked to bring in the go-ahead run with two outs. John Gassler came in to pitch the ninth for the Violets and earned his second save of the year, allowing just one baserunner via error and completing the comeback with a swinging strikeout.

Fontbonne University stayed unbeaten in conference play on Friday afternoon after a 13-4 victory over Greenville to open the three-game set. The Panthers opened with a 2-0 lead through two innings of play, but the Griffins answered in the third. After a walk to Thomas Purschke and a hit-by-pitch to Daniel Youngblood, the Griffins cut into the deficit into 2-1 after an RBI single from Braeden Dobbs soring Thomas. Then, Matt Helm stepped in and belted a 3-run shot over the right field wall giving Fontbonne a 4-1 advantage. They tacked on two more in the fourth with Davin Smith and Daniel Youngblood each collecting an RBI making a 6-1 contest. The Griffins added another run in the fifth off a Trey Kueper RBI single and made it 8-1 n the sixth off Youngblood's leadoff solo homer. From there, the Griffins scored one in the seventh and four more in the fourth en route to the nine-run win.
