An RBI ground out in the bottom of the eighth inning proved to be be the winning run as the Devils defeated Oneonta, 5-4, on Monday. Kenny Ynoa picked up his second win of the season in relief, and Nate O'Brochta got final two outs for the save. The Devils dropped the nightcap, 17-0.

It took a few extra days to complete, but Worcester State took both games of a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader against MCLA that was started briefly on Saturday before being postponed due to hail. The Lancers beat the Trailblazers 2-0 in the opening game and then won the second 7-inning affair 8-2. Junior pitcher Ben Smith picked up where he left off on Saturday, when he struck out the final two batters in the first before the rain delay. He went on to strike out eight and spin a complete-game gem, allowing just four hits in seven shutout innings. Worcester scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth to break a 2-2 tie heading to the final frame.

No. 10 ranked UW-Whitewater claimed a series win at UW-Eau Claire Monday by splitting a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at Bollinger Fields. The Warhawks (15-6 overall, 7-3 WIAC) took the opener by an 11-3 score before being edged 12-11 in Game 2. In Game 1, UW-Whitewater broke a scoreless tie with a six-run top of the fifth. In the second game, UW-Eau Claire scored nine unanswered runs, including three in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Oswego State took both games from the Plattsburgh State Cardinals on Monday afternoon, winning 19-6 and 8-2. The Lakers compiled 34 hits over the two games, as the #16 team in the country improved to 15-5, while Plattsburgh fell to 10-8. Kyle Cremin and Kaden Kowalowski each had multi-hit games in the doubleheader, with Kowalowski driving in a run in game two of the twinbill.

Backed by a three-run first inning and a strong starting pitching performance from Charlie Fleming, Denison University defeated Allegheny College 5-1 to give the Gators their first loss in North Coast Athletic Conference action so far this season. Josh Bohn, Charlie Glennon and Owen Wilson each finished with two hits for the Denison offense while on the mound, Charlie Fleming (4-1) went on to finish with five hits, one run, one walk and six strikeouts to his credit over 8.2 innings. Fleming pitched four 1-2-3 innings and only allowed four base runners over the first eight innings. Game two between Denison and Allegheny on Monday was suspended in the middle of the seventh inning with the Big Red leading 8-4. The contest will have to be made up at a later date.

Messiah played Eastern University to a doubleheader split on Monday afternoon at Starry Baseball Field. The Falcons erupted for a 20-hit Game One, topping the Eagles, 18-6, before dropping Game Two by a score of 13-5. Messiah had stellar offensive performances from many notable contributors, highlighted by a four-RBI game from Jarrett Gordon in Game One and home runs from Clayton Roberts and Reed Wagner in Game Two. With the doubleheader split, Messiah's 2022 overall record stands at 16-12 (6-2 MAC Commonwealth).

A five-run eighth inning helped William Paterson (16-9, 3-3 NJAC) win, 11-3, at The College of New Jersey (11-10, 3-3 NJAC). Dan Carter was 5-for-6 while adding a double, two RBI and a pair of runs scored. Elliot Hayward went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI, and Carson Weis had a two-hit, two-RBI effort. Junior Dan Castaneda tossed the first 5.0 innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits and two walks, striking out three (2-2). Freshman Neel Telidevara struck out three during his 2.0 hitless innings. Junior Darmany Rivas gave up a hit in 2.0 shutout innings while recording two strikeouts.

St. John Fisher College picked up two more wins in league play on Monday as the Cardinals defeated Utica University twice, 20-2 and 15-2 at the Pioneers' Baseball Field. With the wins, Fisher, which has now posted eight wins in its last nine outings, improved to 15-10 overall and 7-1 in the Empire 8 standings while the Pioneers fell to 11-10 on the year and 4-4 against conference opposition. After scoring three runs in the top of the first, the Cardinals gave one back in the bottom half of the inning to take a 3-1 edge into the top of the second. From there, Fisher's offense erupted for 17 runs over the next three innings with 11 hits to open up a 20-1 cushion. Fisher carried over its hot hitting into the nightcap.

Sophomore Francis Kiely, who went 4-for-4 against Coast Guard last Tuesday, had three hits and knocked in four runs on Monday and sophomore Tristen Spalter pitched six scoreless innings of four-hit baseball as Babson College blanked Coast Guard, 10-0, in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference game at Govoni Field. The Beavers avenged the 4-1 loss to Coast Guard last week and posted their third straight victory, improving to 14-8 overall and 5-1 in the NEWMAC, while the Bears had their nine-game winning streak snapped and fell to 14-7 overall and 5-1 in conference play. Kiely had two-run singles in both the first and fourth innings to lead the Beaver offense, while first-year Walter Sadowsky had two hits and scored a run. Senior Sean Burychka reached base three times on a hit and two walks and scored two runs, and first-year Justin Guest and junior Jackson Kelly also drove in runs in the win.

Case Western Reserve University junior first baseman Nick Talarico got the Spartans off to a strong start with a three-run home run in the first inning, and five pitchers combined to allow just four hits, as the Spartans claimed a 7-1 win on the road against the Adrian College Bulldogs on Monday night. The win was the third-straight victory for the Spartans, who improved to 15-13 overall. Adrian dropped to 11-9 following the loss. Sophomore left-handed pitcher Reece Marley started and earned the win to improve to 4-3 for the season, while lowering his earned run average to 2.81. He struck out six and allowed just one run on three hits, while walking five batters over five innings of work.

Behind a pair of late-game comebacks, Saint Vincent swept Thiel in a Presidents' Athletic Conference doubleheader at Bearcat Ballfield, running their winning streak to eight games. In the opener, T.J. Dailey's two-strike, two-out grand slam in the bottom of the sixth propelled the Bearcats (12-8, 8-2 PAC) to an 11-6 win over the Tomcats (8-14, 4-8 PAC, before the Bearcats scored six runs over the seventh and eighth innings to erase a 5-3 deficit and win the nightcap 9-7.

After splitting their doubleheader on Sunday, Keuka College and Russell Sage College split again on Monday to conclude their season series. Keuka College (9-10-1, 3-4-1 Empire 8) got ahead of the Gators early to win game one 8-5. Keuka led early in game two as well, but the hosts rallied to win the nightcap 17-4. Ryan Seales continued to pace the Keuka College offense. Pushing his doubles streak to four straight games, the senior finished with a pair of hits, pair of runs scored, and drove in a run. Keuka College once again jumped ahead in the first inning but the early lead would be the highlight for Keuka. Russell Sage scored six runs in the bottom of the third to take the lead and had an answer to every challenge by the Wolves.

and eighth innings, needed an additional out in the ninth
on a dropped third strike and an error, got bailed out by
a batter reentering play and called out on appeal in the
same inning, then put the tying run in scoring position
in the tenth.

Delaware Valley erased a five run deficit with a six-run sixth inning and broke a 7-7 tie in the top of the ninth to earn an 8-7 win over King's College and win their first Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom series of the season. After a Kenny Tunison RBI single in the top of the eighth grew the lead to 7-5, the Monarchs pushed two runs across in the bottom half of the frame on two fielder's choices, tying the game at 7-7. In the top of the ninth, Gage Ambruster led off with a walk and was sacrificed to second base with a bunt by Nick Koch. Shawne Eldridge came through with a two-out double to left field, putting the Aggies ahead 8-7.

No. 11 Salisbury University slugged five home runs on the way to a 29-1 thrashing of the Marymount Saints for its ninth win in a row on Monday afternoon at Sea Gull Baseball Stadium. Kavi Caster turned in another monster day at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a double, two home runs, three runs scored and a career-high seven RBIs. Caster now has 23 extra-base hits in 28 games this season. Newly-minted Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week Sky Rahill extended his hitting streak to 18 games and then some, going 2-for-5 with a double, homer, five RBIs and five runs scored. Salisbury knocked on the door of 30 runs for the second time this season after beating St. Mary's (Md.) 28-6 on March 30. The Sea Gulls' 29 runs are their most in a game since hanging 34 on Gwynedd Mercy on March 24, 2016. Xavier Marmol (4-0) cruised to his fourth victory of the season, allowing one run on three hits in seven innings. Marmol walked none and struck out four on 83 pitches.

Geneva College hosted Chatham on Monday afternoon for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader, playing the final two games of the three-game series after the Golden Tornadoes opened the series on Friday night with a 7-4 victory. Geneva knew it would have to dodge the rain to get the doubleheader in, but the two teams couldn't make it through both games before the rains came. The Golden Tornadoes defeated Chatham 12-5 in game one, but game two was suspended due to rain in the third inning with Geneva leading 1-0. Timothy Munz earned his first victory of the season, going 5.2 innings while giving up six hits, five runs (four earned), while striking out three. Orbin retired all four batters he faced to earn the save. Offensively, freshman Cael Brandt led the offense, going a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a run and an RBI. Hall and Hermansen each finished 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. Sophomore David Toruno and junior Gabriel Morales each scored two runs.

It was a hit parade propelling the Hope College to a 14-3 victory against Alma College on Monday in the home opener at Boeve Stadium. The Flying Dutchmen capitalized on 11 hits, including two home runs, and nine hit batsmen to secure a series victory against the Scots. Twenty-nine different Hope batters reached base, including senior shortstop Brant Kym and senior center fielder Evan Maday, who each blasted solo homers. The Flying Dutchmen improved to 11-6 overall and evened their MIAA record at 2-2. Hope and Alma met for the first time since April 2 when they split a doubleheader at Alma.

Max Slusser drove in the winning run with a single to right in the 10th inning of the nightcap as Marywood defeated Neumann 4-3 in Atlantic East action Monday. The Knights took the opener, 3-2. Marywood took two of three from Neumann in the regular season series. Slusser's heroics drove in Quinton Roma, who had reached on a fielding error earlier in the inning. Marywood moves to 16-7 (5-4 AEC). In the opener, Kyle Morin cut into the Knights' lead with a solo homer to left in the bottom of the sixth, and Joseph Bruno would score on a fielder's choice in the seventh to make it a one-run game. Marywood could not get any more though as Will Hart got the last two Marywood batters to fly out. Hart (4-1) went all seven innings for Neumann, striking out six in the complete-game victory. Marywood's Nick Notari (4-1) suffered his first loss of the year after allowing one earned run and striking out three.
