Centre embarked on the final road trip of the regular season as they played the first of three games against the Sewanee Tigers. Centre shut down the Tigers offense after the third inning and cruised to a 10-5 series-opening win.

Huntingdon defeated Brevard twice on Friday, 3-0 and 17-11. Eddie Patterson pitched a complete game and earned his 8th win of the season, allowing no runs on 2 hits with 5 strikeouts. Andrew Knight was 2-4 with 1 run, 1 RBI, and 1 walk, including a solo homerun in the 8th. Noah Phillips was 2-4 with 1 run. The Hawks totaled 11 hits and 6 walks. The Hawks won game 2, 17-11. Hall Billings earned his 3rd win of the season, pitching 5.2 innings and allowing 6 runs on 8 hits with 4 strikeouts. Daniel Phillips was 4-5 with 4 runs and 4 RBI. Noah Phillips was 3-5 with 6 RBI and 3 runs. Cullen Stafford was 3-5 with 2 runs. Cade Morgan was 3-5 with 2 runs The Hawks totaled 19 hits, including homeruns from Noah Phillips and Daniel Patton.

The Kalamazoo College won the series opener at Calvin 12-10 on Friday. The Hornets scored six in the top of the first and five in the top of the second to take an 11-0 lead. Calvin chipped away with two in the bottom of the second and three in the third to make it 11-5. Calvin added another run in the fifth and four in the sixth to make it an 11-10 game. Kalamazoo added an insurance run in the eighth while Cade Thune pitched a scoreless final two innings to secure the win. Kalamazoo had 12 hits in the game compared to nine by Calvin. Blake Bean was 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs. Lukas Bolton had two hits with a double and two RBIs. Harrison Poeszat also had two hits with a double and three RBIs. Spencer Baldwin and Max Gordon also doubled in the game, with Gordon also driving in two runs. Alex Bowden pitched a scoreless seventh inning with two strikeouts. Cade Thune did not allow a run over the final two innings while striking out four to earn the save.

Jack Boyle's two-run, one-out single in the bottom of the ninth Friday capped a 10-run final-inning rally for the Amherst College and gave it a 13-12 win over Trinity College in the annual Pride Game at Memorial Field. Amherst earned its first home win of the season and improved to 7-13-1 with the historic rally. Trinity fell to 10-11 overall with the loss. Amherst trailed 12-3 entering the bottom of the ninth, but came up with nine hits and 10 runs to win it.

Ithaca College let the bats fly on Friday afternoon in a Liberty League doubleheader at RIT as the Bombers took down the Tigers, 16-10 and 12-4, at Tiger Stadium to earn two crucial divisional wins. With the victories, Ithaca is now 19-7 overall and 7-3 in Liberty League play. Louis Fabbo was the story of the opener as he went 5-for-5 with seven RBI and four runs scored. Fabbo belted two home runs, including a grand slam in the six-run second inning, and notched a pair of doubles. IC racked up 17 hits in the victory and led by 12 runs heading into the bottom of the eighth inning. Fabbo drilled his second homer of the day in the top of the ninth to account for the 16-10 final. RIT once again scored twice in the first inning, but the Bombers answered with nine runs in the bottom of the second to break the game open early.

John Jay visited CUNYAC foe Lehman College for a doubleheader on Friday evening at South Field, splitting the two games with the Lightning. The Bloodhounds lost game one, 10-1, but bounced back for a thrilling, 13-10, victory in game two. The Bloodhounds move to 5-23 (3-5 CUNYAC) on the season, while Lehman moves to 6-9 (4-4 CUNYAC) on the year. John Jay scored the first run of the day on an RBI single from sophomore Michael Manzoeillo in the top of the second inning of game two, but the Lightning answered with four runs in the bottom of the frame to gain control. Lehman would go onto win, but the Bloodhounds would shake it right off and come back with a big performance in game two. After Lehman went ahead, 1-0, John Jay scored five runs in the top of the second inning, large in part thanks to a grand slam from sophomore Christopher Nunez. The Bloodhounds scored five more runs an inning later, stringing together multiple hits including a 2-RBI single from freshman Ivan Massari. John Jay led 13-7 heading into the last inning and, despite a big final frame from the Lighting in which they scored three runs, held on to earn the win. Freshman Thomas Salerno had an incredible game two, notching four hits, along with four runs scored, a stolen base, and an RBI. Freshman Michael Mauro and Juan Maldonado each had three hits on the day, while Mauro added two walks. Nunez went 2-4 in game two with six RBIs, while Massari went 2-3 with a walk and three RBIs. Sophomore Ismael Tatis earned the save in game two, getting the last two outs of the game on strikeouts.

It took 12 innings in the opening game, but Worcester
State University outlasted Westfield State to send
them on their way to a sweep of the Owls in
Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference
action on Friday afternoon at Lyons Diamond. The
Lancers came from two runs down in the bottom of
the twelfth to defeat Westfield 3-2 in the first game,
and then topped the Owls 3-1 in the second game of
the day to improve to 11-11 (5-3 MASCAC).

Sam Silvestri and Dru Didway blasted home runs and Grant Cross spun a four-hitter as the Eagles completed a three-game sweep against Sul Ross State University Friday with a 13-6 win. With a 1-0 lead, Didway cranked out a three-run homer in the second for a 4-0 advantage. In the next inning, Silvestri hit a two-run homer to give the Eagles a 6-3 lead. In the fourth, Silvestri, Kagen Kennedy and Josh Ropple had RBI's. Meanwhile, Cross was effectively getting the Lobos out with off-speed pitches. Didway had another RBI single in the fifth. Nicholas Bennett followed with an RBI and Kennedy had an RBI triple. The Eagles pounded out 13 hits in the game. Five Eagles had multiple-hit games. Didway finished 2-for-4 with four RBI. Cross worked 6.2 innings and gave up four hits while striking out three. Cross threw 111 pitches in the win.

A two-out, bases clearing triple from Connor Roggero gave New York University a lead it didn't relinquish at Case Western Reserve University on Friday afternoon. The Violets won 7-6 in Cleveland, OH, to open a four-game University Athletic Association set between the teams this weekend. NYU improved to 17-6 overall and 7-6 in UAA play. The Spartans' record was evened at 15-15, but they sit in second place in the Association, one spot ahead of the Violets, with a 6-3 mark. Roggero (3-for-5) led a trio of Violets with multiple hits, along with Jacob Singer and Grant Berman, while Jack Hassett improved to 4-0 on the mound after 6.1 innings of work.

Traveling to Chicago to take on North Park University, North Central College (Ill.) never trailed on their way to a 16-5 win over the Vikings on Friday afternoon as the Cardinals hit five home runs and tallied 20 hits over the seven innings. Starter Charlie Klemm struck out two Viking batters in the bottom of the first inning before Trey Roach hit his second home run of the season, bringing home Paul Beverly who singled to start the inning as the Cardinals took a 2-0 lead early in the game. Klemm earned his fifth win of the year as he threw six innings, allowing three runs while striking out eight. With the win, Klemm ties the program record for most wins in a career with 23. Roach and Beverly tallied three hits on the day as Listi scored three runs and drove in three as well. As a team, North Central recorded five home runs on the day.

Mount Union swept Wilmington in a doubleheader in Ohio Athletic Conference play, winning game one 5-3 in eleven innings and winning game two 11-4 on Friday afternoon. Mount Union would break the tie in the eleventh inning when sophomore Andrew Mekeal hit a two RBI double that brought home junior Zack Mazza and Chase Angotti and would give the Raiders a 5-3 victory in eleven innings. The Raiders would strike first in game two scoring in the top of the first and build the score to give Mount Union a 10-3 lead. Wilmington would cut into the lead with a run in the bottom of the seventh when Kelsey hit an RBI double the brought in Shaneyfelt to trim the lead down to 11-4. In the top half of the eighth Lehman hit an RBI single that scored Schilling and would give Mount Union the 11-4 victory.

On Friday Mount St. Joseph University hosted the Yellow-Jackets of Defiance College. This Heartland Conference doubleheader saw two teams neck and neck in the HCAC standings. MSJ won games by identical 13-6 scores. In game one, the Lions received a brilliant pitching effort by Jacob Hughes. The Senior scattered nine hits over eight innings of work, fanning seven batters on his way to his second win of the season. Hughes received support from fellow classmates Anderson and Murray. Anderson led the Lions with four hits in five at-bats including a double and a grand-slam, finishing with four RBI and three runs scored. Game two went back and forth but in the bottom of the sixth, Anderson once again went yard, in grand slam fashion for the second time of the day. This effort by Anderson pushed the Lions ahead 8-4. Anderson once again turned in a phenomenal performance collecting one home run and four RBI. Tyler Herbers collected three hits in five at-bats and a pair of RBI.

Muhlenberg came into Coca-Cola Park willing to go to great lengths to win a game. And that's just what the Mules did, scoring a run in the bottom of the 13th to defeat Ursinus, 4-3, and snap their 10-game losing streak. Although the Mules won a 14-inning game on the road at Gettysburg in 2019, they hadn't walked off with a win in a game that long since 1973, when they beat Johns Hopkins in 13 innings. The marathon game ended on an unusual play. With junior Caleb Tereska on first and two outs in the 13th, senior Thomas Rodgers looped a single into shallow center.

It was back to conference play for CMSV as the Dolphins took on SUNY Maritime in a doubleheader on Friday after the games were rescheduled Thursday due to weather. Both games were tightly contested, and it was reflected in the box scores, as the Skyline rivals split the series down the middle. The Privateers took game one by the score of 5-2, with the Dolphins emerging victorious by two runs in the second contest. Dolphins ace Andrew Geiger was on the bump in the first game - and despite picking up the loss, he continued his impressive 2022 campaign. The Dolphins scattered six hits against Maritime, and even took the lead in fourth inning after junior Jake Pierre picked up a bases loaded walk. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, it wasn't enough to ensure the win. The second game went in CMSV's favor. Starting pitcher Sean Kennedy didn't allow a run to cross the plate until the sixth inning, with only three total scoring for Maritime. The sophomore picked up where he left off in his last start against Saint Elizabeth University, as he once again threw a complete game for his team. Kennedy finished with six strikeouts in nine innings.

The No. 11 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks started a four-game Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series at UW-La Crosse Friday with a pair of victories at Copeland Park in La Crosse. The Warhawks (17-6 overall, 9-3 WIAC) took the first game by a 9-5 score before earning a 7-3 win in the nightcap. In the opener, UW-Whitewater's six-run fourth inning, when it connected for three home runs, proved to be the difference in the contest as the two teams combined for 23 hits. In Game 2, UW-Whitewater took the lead for good with a four-run top of the third inning and added insurance runs in the fourth and fifth frames.

Behind an excellent start from junior pitcher Graham Cartwright and three hits each from first-year Malachi Soqui and senior Nick Aiello, MIT defeated Wheaton College by an 8-6 final on Friday afternoon. MIT outhit Wheaton by a narrow 13-12 margin behind three hits each by Soqui and Aiello, along with two from junior Kyle Sonandres. John Studley finished 3-for-5 for the Lyons. Graham Cartwright improved to 3-2 overall as he went five innings, scattering six hits with seven strikeouts and two runs allowed. Gabbita picked up his first career save with a scoreless ninth.eska wheeled around second and headed for third, and he was awarded home plate when the throw from the outfield went into the Muhlenberg dugout.

Penn State Abington picked up its 20th victory of the season after defeating Penn College, 14-0, in United East Conference action on Friday afternoon at Muncy Bank Ballpark. Abington scored the game's first run in the first inning and that was all the offense starting pitcher, Jaden Himmelreich, needed to pick up his fourth victory of the season. Himmelreich (4-2) went seven strong innings to record the complete-game victory. He limited the Wildcats to just three hits while striking out three batters. Tim Petrucelli had a day at the plate as he finished 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored to go along with a pair of walks as he reached base five times. Today marked the 20th meeting between Abington and Penn since the start of the 2015 season. The Nittany Lions are now 13-7 versus the Wildcats in that span.

Catholic University split a doubleheader with Landmark Conference rivals Elizabethtown on Friday at Talbot Field. Freshman Dante Pozzi extended his streak of safely reaching base to 24 while senior Peter Giombetti follows right behind with an active streak of 23. Catholic added what proved to be the game-winning run in ngame one in the eighth when senior Matt Tesoriero led off with a double to center before scoring on an RBI-single by freshman Matthew Fisher. Despite four home runs, Catholic droped the nightcap 16-14. Catholic gained an early 8-1 lead but the Blue Jays responded once junior starting pitcher Jack Zaffiro exited the game. Elizabethtown put together a mammath inning in the fourth. The Blue Jays scored 10 runs on nine hits as 11 straight batters reached base to go up 11-8. After losing the lead, the Blue Jays scored five in the top of the eighth, capped off by a Garrett Schrawtzbeck three-run homer to take the lead back permanently.

Junior Bobby Cliche and senior Noah Wachter combined to allow just five hits in the opener as Plymouth State University split a Little East Conference doubleheader against Western Connecticut State University at Parish Field on Friday. Cliche struck out seven and allowed just a pair of runs in his six-plus innings and Wachter earned the win after striking out four over the final three as PSU used a four-run ninth inning to take the opener, 7-2. WestConn rebounded from an early deficit with an offensive outburst to earn the split with a 12-2, seven-inning win in game two. Plymouth State pushed across a run and had the bases loaded in the top of the seventh, but the WestConn pitching shut down the rally. Plymouth State moves to 10-17 (2-5 LEC), while WestConn goes to 5-11 and 1-5 in the LEC.

Dylan Taliaferro and Daniel Keenan combined for a three-hit shutout as Kean University defeated Ramapo College, 3-0. Taliaferro (6-0) tossed six innings allowing three singles and five walks with five strikeouts. Keenan recorded his fourth save of the year with three perfect innings. The Cougars (24-6, 6-1 NJAC) got all the runs they would need in the sixth inning, taking advantage of three Roadrunner miscues with timely hitting and accurate sacrifices. Dylan Beyer collected an RBI single and Caleb Rodriguez had a key RBI sacrifice later in the frame. Beyer also had a key defensive play in the first inning, nailing the runner at the plate with a line drive throw from right field to an awaiting Josh Jackson to keep Ramapo off the board. Kean scattered their hits between six players and added four stolen bases in the game.

Texas Lutheran combined to outscore University of Dallas 16-2 in Friday's doubleheader to clinch the series against the Crusaders, winning game one, 9-1, before taking game two, 7-1, at Katt-Isbel Field. The two wins move their winning streak to 13 games and gives the Bulldogs their eleventh straight SCAC win as the Bulldogs improve to 24-7 (13-1 SCAC) on the season. Joe Burch, making his ninth start of the season, struck out five and scattered seven hits across seven innings of work - only allowing one run. Burch picked up the win to pick up his SCAC best sixth win of the season - moving to 6-2 on the season.In game two, the Bulldogs would hold the Crusaders scoreless until the ninth inning when they managed to score their only run of the game.

The Bruins and Boxers played two games that could not have been any less alike in a doubleheader on Friday. Game one featured big hits and multi-run homers, while game two was a low-scoring, extra-innings nailbiter from beginning to end with a walkoff Bruin extra-base knock. The Bruins were unable to overcome a mammoth third inning for the Boxers and chased the rest of the way after the Boxers batted through the lineup and got two grand slams in a single frame. A two-run shot in the fourth and three more insurance runs in the ninth made it a 14-3 final in favor of the Boxers. Five home runs left ball park in game one, with a two-run shot for Jared Gee in the eighth and four other for the Boxers. Fans in attendance were treated to a pitching battle and a defensive clinic in game two of the doubleheader as both sides went up and down the order through eight scoreless innings. Fox was able to level the score with a no-doubt homer pulled out over the left field fence by Matthew Sebolsky, plating pinch-runner Breyndon Nakamura to tie the game in the ninth, but the Boxers were able to wiggle off the hook and force extra innings. Noah Meffert entered to pitch the 10th and dropped the Bruins to a straight-nine lineup, allowing the Boxers to load the bases first before striking out the side. Fox finished the extra-innings nailbiter with a walkoff double from Brandon King as the junior shortstop snapped a hitting slump with the timeliest of extra-base knocks for a 3-2 walkoff win.

New day, different venue. Didn't seem to matter for Montclair State. For the second consecutive day, the Red Hawks scored 20-plus runs, completing a sweep of their home-and-home series against New Jersey City with a 28-9 victory at the Thomas M. Gerrity Complex on Friday. Junior rightfielder Ryan McKenna homered and drove in seven runs while Miles Feaster went 3-for-4 with six RBI as MSU pounded out 29 hits, two shy of the single-game record set against Saint Peter's in 1974. Joe Gisonda had a homer and three RBI with Sam Angelo adding a two-run shot.

Utica University came back from a game one loss against the Keuka College Wolves to salvage a split against its Empire 8 foe with a win in the second game of the twin bill. The Pioneers held a 5-0 advantage after their half of the 2nd inningbut they could not hold the early lead. Three runs in the 4th inning put the home team ahead 7-6 before adding three more between the 5th and 6th innings to help cap off a comeback for a 10-6 win. In game two, Utica once again put up an early lead but the results were 180 from game one. Jason Story stepped up late in the game and singled home the what would be winning run on a base knock to center. Mangino completed the 7th inning on his way to earning his second win of the year before May completed the two-inning save for his third of 2022 in the Utica win.

Covenant earned a split with conference foe Maryville on Friday afternoon's doubleheader. The host Scots earned a walk-off 5-4 win in extra innings in game one. But Maryville would record 11 hits in game two, resulting in a 11-6 victory. After back-to-back-to-back singles to load the bases in a tied game, Maryville recorded a force out at home, Joseph Ridenour reached on a fielder's choice, scoring Harvey and securing the 5-4 victory. In game two, Maryville would grab the lead with a four run fourth and pad it with four more in the seventh. Covenant would chip away but never close the gap.

Alec Teska and Russell Dunlap each threw a complete game on Friday and Brian Norsen drove in 12 combined runs as St. John Fisher College pushed its winning streak to four games after sweeping the Elmira College Soaring Eagles in an Empire 8 doubleheader at Dugan Yard. With its wins, Fisher improved to 17-10 and 9-1 in the league standings while the visitors fell to 8-14-1, 4-5-1, respectively. Already leading by nine in the fourth inning of the opener, Fisher continued to rake. In all, Fisher had 13 hits with Brian Norsen going 3-for-4 with a pair of homers, a season-high seven RBI and three runs scored. The nightcap began in the same fashion as the opener with Dunlap setting down the side in order before Lavery stepped in with a man on and drilled another two-run home run to stake the Cardinals to an early lead. Fisher built a 10-run cushion but continued to add with Norsen driving in his 11th and 12th RBI of the afternoon to give Fisher the 16-2 decision.
