Trailing by a 5-1 margin, MIT rallied past first-place Babson College for an 8-6 victory on Friday afternoon in the first game of a three-game weekend series. The win snaps Babson's nine-game winning streak as the Engineers won their second straight game.

Undone by a seven-run ninth, eighth-ranked Salisbury University saw its 12-game winning streak come to an end, falling to the Wilson Phoenix in a back-and-forth 9-7 affair on Friday afternoon at Sea Gull Baseball Stadium. Salisbury put together its own rally and had a chance to win it in the bottom of the ninth, loading the bases with no out on two hit batsmen and a walk. Cameron then became the third Sea Gull hit by a pitch in the inning, which forced in a run to make it 9-7. Ben Anderson came up next and hit a low liner to short that Curry snagged and flicked over to second, forcing the runner out for a backbreaking double play. Luke Weddell then popped out to second, giving Wilson a stunning come-from-behind victory.

Penn State Berks rallied and then held off a rally to hold on for a 6-5 victory over Gallaudet University in an United East contest on Friday afternoon at Hintz Athletic Field. Gallaudet got a leadoff single in the ninth before a strikeout for out one, but a Berks error put runners on first and second. The next batter sliced a double down the right field line to score two runs, but a relay from Templin was able to get the runner trying to stretch a triple. Instead of the tying run being on third with one out, Berks now had two down and bases empty thanks to the relay throw. Miiller then ended the contest with another strikeout. Miiller finished the contest with a career-high 11 strikeouts, surpassing his previous high of six which he had done twice this spring. The sophomore right-hander allowed 10 hits and five runs (one earned) while tossing his first complete-game of his college career.

Emory University outlasted Brandeis University, 12-11, in an offensive slugfest instant classic Friday afternoon at Chappell Park in Atlanta. By virtue of the win and a Case Western Reserve loss at the hands of WashU in Cleveland Friday, the Eagles pulled even with the Spartans atop the UAA standings at 9-4 with three games remaining. Emory, in search of its first UAA title since 2015, improves to 22-13 overall. The loss makes Brandeis 16-9 on the year and pushes them three games back in the conference at 6-7. The Eagles withstood three separate rallies by the visiting Judges to win the opener, headlined by a go-ahead base hit by sophomore Walker Woolf in the eighth inning that broke an 11-11 game to give Emory the win. Woolf finished the afternoon with three hits, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and was one of four Eagles with at least two runs driven in. Juniors Ellis Schwartz and Henry Pelinski each recorded huge days at the plate, collecting three hits and three RBI apiece.

Allegheny picked up a 5-4 nonconference win against local foe Penn State Behrend Friday. Tyson Bryant-Dawson put the Gators in front, 4-3, as he came across the plate on a balk. The Gators added to their lead in the seventh as Chase Chodkowski once again singled through the right side, driving Bryant-Dawson home. The Lions made up a run in the eighth, but were held off the scoreboard in the ninth as the Gators secured the win. Garrett Senchur earned the win in relief, pitching 1.2 innings, allowing zero hits while striking out one. Preston Pierce earned the save, his first of the year, working the final 3.0 innings and yielding just three hits and one unearned run, while striking out a pair.

Stevenson sophomore shortstop Amani Jones hit two home runs as the Mustangs (12-21-1, 7-3 MACC) defeated Hood 8-2 (8-24, 1-9 MACC) Friday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth play at FCC Baseball Field. Jones went 4-5 at the dish with two homeruns and four RBIs. Will Mesa also added a solo homerun for Stevenson as the only extra base hits for the Mustangs. Jonathan Brandt, Tommy Holcomb and Dylan Scott each added RBIs. Brady Power started on the mound for the Mustangs, going four innings with one earned run on four hits and striking out four.

SUNY New Paltz defeated their conference rivals SUNY Oneonta, 6-4 Friday. Billy Moeller had another solid outing on the mound. He pitched seven innings, giving up three earned runs on 10 hits. He had seven strikeouts, putting him first on the SUNYAC strikeout leaderboard with 64 strikeouts so far. "We have full confidence in Billy and what he has been doing for us and [he] has been outstanding. If he gets ahead of batters, locates his offspeed in advantage counts, he will continue to be one of the top arms in the SUNYAC." said Pitching coach Brandon Rivera. The Hawks take on SUNY Oneonta again on Saturday for Game Two of their three game series. Preparing for tomorrow's doubleheader, Coach Rivera said, " We just need to keep playing our game, at our speed, our way. Jobs not done, looking forward to going out and competing in Game One tomorrow."

The Trinity (Texas) Tigers improved to 25-7 overall and 15-1 in conference play, taking over the lead in the SCAC standings with the team's 15th consecutive victory, a 14-3 run -ruled win over the Bulldogs. Texas Lutheran fell to 25-9 and 14-2 in the league with the loss. Joseph Chavana improved to 7-1 with his third complete game of the season, striking out eight batters and allowing just three runs on four hits over the seven-inning effort. The real story was the home run barrage from the Tiger offense, though, as four different Trinity hitters went deep in the game. Nathan Braulick went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI, and two runs scored in the game. He led a Trinity team that peppered the visitors with 14 total hits in six innings.

Lebanon Valley College had one of their best offensive games of the year and scored over 20 runs for the fifth time this season in a 23-9 victory at Eastern University on Friday afternoon at The Yard. The Dutchmen completed the season sweep of the Eagles after Tuesday's victory at McGill Field. LVC (21-13, 9-3 MAC Commonwealth) scored all their runs in four different innings with six in the first, six in the second, six in the fourth, and five runs in the seventh inning. The Eagles (10-24, 3-9 MAC Commonwealth) scored a run in the first and a run in the second. They then did most of their scoring in the later innings with two in the sixth, three in the seventh, and a run in each of the eighth and ninth innings.

York College posted their first shutout of the year as the Spartans blanked Messiah University 13-0 in MAC Commonwealth play on a delightful Friday in York. Senior AJ Vincenzi and freshman Yandel Tolentino combined to throw a five hit shutout for the Spartans. The Spartans have won eight of their last 11 including two in a row with the sweep of Messiah. Senior AJ Vincenzi twirling seven shutout innings. Vincenzi scattered four hits, struck out four and walked four. He was the beneficiary of three Spartan double plays that preserved the shutout. Freshman Yandel Tolentino closed out the game with two innings of one-hit baseball to keep the Falcons off the board. The Spartans improve to 50-9 all-time against Messiah as York has won seven straight in the series, The shutout was the Spartans' first since April 24 when York blanked Eastern 11-0 behind Robert Chaney's 6.2 innings of shutout baseball.

An RBI single from Josh Harvey in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted Covenant to a walk-off, 5-4, victory over Bob Jones on Friday afternoon. The Scots got asacrifice fly off the bat of Joseph Ridenour in the bottom of the eighth tied the game back up, 4-4. After holding the Bruins scoreless in their half of the ninth, Covenant had one more chance in the bottom of the inning to walk it off. Mills walked to leadoff the inning and then advanced to second on a wild pitch. Zeke Gilbert followed with an infield single, advancing Mills to third. Harvey ended the game with a drive to the left-center field gap that scored Mills to give the Scots the walk-off win.

WPI started its weekend series against Coast Guard off with a three-hit, 3-0 shutout of the Bears on Friday night on the campus of Holy Cross. Andrew Dupuis (Raymond, NH) pitched seven clean innings, allowing just two hits while striking out four while Noah Pins (Holden, MA) picked up his second save of the year throwing the final two innings of action, allowing just one hit and sitting down four by way of the K. WPI improved to 13-14 on the season and 3-8 in NEWMAC play while Coast Guard dropped to 16-10 on the year and 7-4 in conference play. The shutout marks the third time this year the Bears have been unable to get on the board.

In a battle of two of the hottest teams in college baseball, Saint Vincent knocked off Washington & Jefferson 2-1 in an 11-inning classic at Bearcat Ballfield. The win extends Saint Vincent's (18-8, 14-2 PAC) program-record winning streak to 14 games, while it snaps W&J's 17-game winning streak and was the Presidents' (23-7, 16-1) first conference defeat of the season. A pitcher's duel throughout, the Bearcats scored the victory in an unconventional fashion in the bottom of the 11th inning. With one out, Jordan Sabol doubled and TJ Dailey was intentionally walked. Austin Tirpak followed with a grounder to second base. The shortstop then misplayed the throw to get Dailey at second, allowing Sabol to scamper home with the winning run. The two teams combined for just 15 hits over the 11 innings, with all four pitchers turning in strong performances. SVC starter Tyler Wood worked 3.1 innings and allowed one run on four hits with four strikeouts, before giving way to Aaron Stephan. Making his first relief appearance of the season, the lanky righty threw 7.2 shutout innings and allowed just three hits to earn the win.

The Linfield Wildcats outslugged the George Fox Bruins, 15-9, to open their Northwest Conference Tournament in style Friday afternoon at Pacific University's Chuck Bafaro Stadium. The win sets up a much-anticipated matchup between the Wildcats and Boxers, the two teams that finished tied atop the NWC standings and shared the regular season title. The Wildcats scored in bunches, outhitting their cross-county foes 16-12. Both teams threw five pitchers in the slugfest as the 'Cats fended off a late Bruin comeback to earn their first postseason victory since 2017. Pacific defeated Pacific Lutheran earlier in the day 8-7.

Keuka College split their Empire 8 Conference doubleheader on Friday afternoon at Houghton College. Keuka College (11-13-1, 5-6-1 Empire 8) earned a hard-fought 5-4 victory in game one. The Green and Gold attempted a late rally, but could not overcome the Highlander lead, losing 4-2 in game two. Jared Beckley got the win on the mound for the Wolves, the fourth of the season. He went six innings and allowed six hits while striking out four. He moved into a tie for sixth on the single-season wins list at Keuka. The Wolves had a hit in each of the first four innings, but Houghton was able to work out of trouble, including turning a pair of double plays to keep the Wolves off the board. It would be the hosts who struck first in the fourth. They only had one hit but were aided by an error, wild pitch, and pair of walks to manufacture two runs and take the lead. Houghton would double their lead in the fifth on the back of a two-run home run for the winning margin.

Junior Brandon Chow went 3-for-3 and senior Jimmy Fahey pitched a complete game to lead Trinity (Conn.) to a 2-1 win over No. 23 ranked Tufts University on Friday afternoon in New England Small College Athletic Conference competition. Trinity scored both runs in the top of the third as sophomore James Stefanowicz doubled to center field to lead things off for the Blue and Gold. Two batters later, Chow pushed Stefanowicz to third with an infield single and later advanced to second while Stefanowicz took home on a passed ball for the first run of the day. Moments later, first-year Tanner Fairchild then gave the visitors a two-run lead with an RBI single to left field to score Chow from third. The Jumbos added its lone run of the day in the fifth when Jackson Duffy singled to left field to score Kyle Cortese. Fahey earned his second win of the season on the mound, pitching his first complete game of his career and striking out four batters on the afternoon.

Centenary (La.) walked off the Southwestern University Pirates, 3-2, in the opener of a three-game Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference series on Friday night at Shehee Stadium as the Maroon and White extended their season-high winning streak to seven games. Herrera, in the midst of a superb freshman season, received a no-decision as he remained unbeaten this season at 5-0 and has allowed just six earned runs in 50 innings pitched. Herrera went 5.1 innings and allowed two runs, both earned, and seven hits with two walks and five strikeouts. Junior RHP Parker Primeaux relieved him and picked up the win as he went the final 3.2 innings and was outstanding as he allowed just one hit with one walk and five K's.

to open a three-game American Southwest Conference
series at Howard Payne. Five of the team's 12 runs
were scored by Reed Hodges, tying a single-game
record for runs scored. Hodges reached in all five plate
appearances, including two singles, two walks and a
hit-by-pitch. Futhermore, Hodges extended his hit
streak to 19 games and his on-base streak to 27
games in 27 appearances.

Alex Madera finished 5-for-5, part of seven extra base hits as a team as the No. 9 Arcadia University opened its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) series against FDU-Florham with a 9-2 victory at Skip Wilson Field on Friday afternoon. The Knights continued their red-hot play, winning their eighth-straight to improve to 15-1 in conference and 30-4 overall. Hunter Sibley moved to 6-1 with the victory, allowing just the two unearned runs over seven innings with five hits and two walks while striking out six. Carson Denham finished the game with two scoreless innings, striking out four. Madera finished a home run shy of the cycle in his 5-for-5 outing, scoring three runs while driving home one. Ryan Smolen went 2-for-4 with one run scored.

Anthony Guarino's one-out double in the bottom of the ninth was the only run Montclair State needed en route to a 1-0 victory over William Paterson Friday afternoon at Yogi Berra Stadium. Patrick Cuccurullo tossed seven shutout innings for Montclair State (26-7, 11-1 NJAC), striking out a career-high 10 batters. Cuccurullo is the first Red Hawk pitcher to record double-digit strikeouts since Tyler Diefenbach did against Oneonta on March 23, 2019. Joe Norton reached base three times in the game while Miles Feaster was aboard twice. Both sides totaled four hits, with Darren Gonzalez notching the relief win to move to 3-0 on the year.

The University of St. Thomas won its second consecutive conference game Friday, defeating UDallas 12-9 to open a three-game weekend series. Erik Garza went 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBIs to lead the Celts (13-22, 7-9 SCAC) at the plate. Leo Galvan went 1-for-2 with two RBIs, three walks, and three runs scored, while Tristin Pitkin also collected three hits and scored thrice for the Celts. Starting pitcher Landon Murray struck out eight batters over five and two-thirds innings to pick up the win for UST. Josh Middleton struck out two Crusader batters during a 1-2-3 ninth inning to earn his first save of the season. With the win, the Celts moved a half-game behind Southwestern for the fourth and final playoff berth into the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament.

Jake Boucher's one-out sacrifice fly in the eighth broke a 3-3 tie as Salem State erased a 3-0 deficit to comeback and defeat Westfield State in the first game of their three-game Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference series on Friday afternoon at The Central Campus Baseball Field. The Vikings even their record at 13-13 and go to 5-6 in the MASCAC. The Owls are now 15-12 and 6-5 in conference. Tied 3-3 in the eighth, Christian Burt and Bobby Jellison hit back-to-back singles off reliever Sean Casey. A sacrifice bunt and an intentional walk to Brahiam Ortega loaded the bases, setting up Boucher who hit a deep fly ball to left to score Burt. Boucher, who started the day at second, took the mound in the ninth, and retired the side in order, striking out two to earn his third save of the season. Greg Gentle was the pitcher of record for the Salem State, earning the win with one inning of work. Casey took the loss, allowing a run on two hits while issuing an intentional walk.

Benedictine University ran their win streak to seven with a pair of shutouts at St. Norbert. They defeated the Green Knights 10-0 and 15-0. John Creviston tossed 4.1 blank innings, allowing just two hits while striking out five and Andrew Kurcz worked 2.2 scoreless. Stephen Sewruk allowed just two hits in seven innings while striking out 15. Benedictine finished with 27 hits on the day.

Hunter Wroniuk went 3-for-4 and scored two runs while Ryan Mostrangeli hit a two-run home run as #7 Rowan defeated Rutgers-Camden, 10-2, in NJAC action. The Profs improve to 24-6 and 9-2 in the league. Starter Jason O'Neill upped his record to 6-1 going 6.2 innings, and allowing just four hits, while striking out two. Mike Shannon finished out the game, striking out three and not allowing any hits in 2.1 innings. Wroniuk hit two doubles on the day while Mostrangeli went 2-for-5 with a run scored and three RBI and Patrick Defeciani went 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI to lead the Profs. Rowan pounded out 11 hits and took advantage of four errors by Rutgers.
