The College of Wooster secured their fourth consecutive win on Tuesday with a dominating 13-4 win at La Roche University. Wooster collected 13 hits, led by a 4-for-5 performance from Ryan Kramer who also added four RBI, two doubles and two runs scored. Washington & Jefferson College racked up six home runs, including three by Josh Dezenzo during a doubleheader sweep of Thiel College on Tuesday in Presidents' Athletic Conference play at Ross Memorial Park. The Presidents hit three home runs in game one to secure the 9-3 victory over the Tomcats. W&J added three more long balls in a 13-3 win in game two to complete the sweep. Three home runs powered the Presidents to a 9-3 victory in Tuesday's opener. The Presidents' power surge carried over into game two. W&J hit three more home runs to secure the conference sweep.

No. 15 Gettysburg scored a run in the top of the ninth to force extra innings then plated the game-winning run in the 11th to defeat Messiah, 5-4. Tyler Lizell pitched the final four innings for the Bullets, recording five strikeouts to pick up the win out of the bullpen. Will Stellato had two hits – both doubles – and had a key role in both of the last two runs. Evan Wagaman led the Falcons with two home runs in the game. Gettysburg's Jack Burke walked to start the ninth before stealing second with one out and was able to score from second on a Will Stellato double down the line to tie the game once again. With two outs in the 11th, Stellato ripped his second double in as many at bats. He then stole third and scored when the throw went into left field for the 5-4 lead. Tyler Lizell closed out a career-high four-inning, working around a one-out error to secure the win. Gettysburg reached the 20-win mark in a season for the first time since 2017 when recording 22 victories.

Senior Luis Tejada hit a two-run home run with two outs in the top of the eighth inning to push Rivier past Anna Maria, 5-3, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference clash on Tuesday afternoon at the New England Baseball Complex. With the win, the Raiders improved to 6-7 (1-1 GNAC), while the AMCATS dropped to 10-8 (0-3 GNAC). This win marks the program's first over Anna Maria since 2018, snapping a 12- game skid. Following two scoreless innings to start the game, Rivier got on the board first in the top of the third. Anna Maria broke through in the bottom of the sixth inning only to see Rivier countered Anna Maria's one run in the seventh inning by scoring three runs in the top of the eighth. With bases load and two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Brendan Ferris jammed the final batter to stop the AMCATS' comeback bid and secure his first win of the campaign.

Tufts University battled for a 5-4 victory over the UMass Boston Beacons in a thrilling Tuesday afternoon affair on Sol Gittleman. The Jumbos (6-9) found themselves down a run early took a bit to get adjusted, as they struggled to link hits together against the Boston starter. The Jumbos eventually got on the board in the fifth with a big three run inning. Tufts had their lead, albeit a narrow one by a 5-4 margin. The bottom of the eighth saw Ben Leonard stranded at third, so it came down to the pitching staff to secure the win in the ninth. Landon Meng got the ball for the final frame, and mowed down the final trio of Beacon batters with a ground out, a strikeout and a pop out in foul territory to end it. It was the first save of Meng's career, and was the first win of the season for Michael O'Brien.

Down to their final out, Stevens Institute of Technology rallied for a 9-8 win over Montclair State Tuesday afternoon for their fourth straight victory in one of the most exhilarating games of the season. Victor Schilleci finished 3-for-6 with three RBIs, Dylan Fishbough went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, and Liam DeRubertis had four hits in five at-bats for Stevens. The Ducks' deficit was pushed back to two in the seventh, but Stevens again pulled within a run in the eighth. Fishbough singled with one out and went first to third on DeRubertis' fourth hit of the game. Fishbough later scampered home when DeRubertis got caught up in a rundown between first and second. In the ninth, pinch-hitters Luke Mahala and Robert Savely both singled with one out, setting the stage for Schilleci, who lifted a 1-1 offering well beyond the right field wall before sprinting around the bases in celebration. Montclair State pushed the Ducks to their limit in the bottom of the inning, pulling back within a run and loading the bases with one out, but David Finch struck out back-to-back batters to end the thriller, and the Red Hawks' seven-game winning streak.

Howard Payne Yellow Jackets had a tough showing on Tuesday, falling to the McMurry War Hawks 8-3. Don Shepard Park experienced their first ever night game as well. L. Watkins (0-1) started and took the loss on the mound for Howard Payne (6-10). Brendan Read was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going two shutout innings while allowing one hit, walking none and striking out four. Trailing 2-0, the Yellow Jackets first put runs on the board in the second inning. Howard Payne got an RBI single from L. Prestage, scoring Eli McNair from second base. The Yellow Jackets deficit expanded to 3-1 before their offense got back on the scoreboard, cutting into that deficit in the fourth inning. which tightened the War Hawks lead to 3-2. Howard Payne held the War Hawks off the scoreboard before rallying to even it up at three in the fifth. The Yellow Jackets picked up another run. McMurry then scored five times over the remaining four innings to break the tie and grab the 8-3 win.

Winning their sixth straight game over Carthage, North Central (Ill.) team scored nine runs in three innings to lift the Cardinals past the Firebirds, 11-5, Tuesday afternoon at Augie Schmidt Field in their College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin opener. The Firebirds struck first to put Carthage on top, 2-0 after the first inning. It was not until the third when the Cardinal bats took command, taking the lead for good, 5-2. Henry Saul led all players with four hits and three RBI on the day as Jackson Bland and Austin Wienke each tallied three hits and two RBI. Brian Duvall picked up his first win of the season, throwing five innings, allowing five runs with three strikeouts. Payton Diaz and Elijah Hammond each threw two scoreless innings to finish the game on the mound.

No. 6 Endicott defeated Gordon, 24-3 (7 inn.), on Tuesday evening in Conference of New England action at North Field. The Gulls scored five or more runs in three innings (1st — 7 | 4th — 9 | 6th — 5) to run away with the victory. Robbie Wladkowski went 3-for-4 with a double, a three-run homer (fourth inning), two runs, and five RBI to highlight the offense. TJ Liponis was 3-for-3 with three runs, a two-run homer (second inning), and four RBI, while Kyle Grabowski (Westfield, Mass.) finished the matchup going 2-for-4 with one run scored, two doubles, and three RBI. Joey Frammartino and Danny MacDougall also produced multi-hit games for the Gulls. Frammartino was perfect at the plate (3-for-3), alongside two runs scored and two RBI. MacDougall collected two hits in four at-bats, scored three times, drove in one, and walked twice.

Senior right handed pitcher Eddie Kaftan allowed just one earned run across seven innings of work on Tuesday afternoon, helping guide the Mitchell College to their season-high fifth consecutive victory, 12-2, over Colby-Sawyer College in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference game at Alumni Field, which was shortened to eight innings. Kaftan did not surrender a hit until the top of the fifth inning and gave up just one walk, retiring eight batters by way of the strikeout en route to his third win of the spring. For the third straight game the Mitchell lineup registered double-digit hits, as the Mariners remain unbeaten in conference play with a 2-0 record. Sophomore Chas Terni Jr. had a three hit game with three RBI and a run scored. Freshman Ryan Dennis continued to set the tone at the top of the lineup, finishing 1-3 with a double, a walk, two RBI, and three runs scored. Additionally, freshman Braiden Alaimo drove in a career-high two runs in the win.

Coast Guard hosted the Mariners of Merchant Marine today in this season's annual showdown between service academies. The Bears earned a 10-3 win thanks to the hitters taking advantage of poor Kings Point defense throughout the day. Coast Guard benefited from sloppy fielding on Kings Points' part throughout the afternoon, which culminated in the visiting Mariners committing eight errors by the game's end. Rookie southpaw John DiMarsico opened and pitched two innings of no-run ball, allowing two hits and striking out two in the process; he was followed by Harrison Milbert, who allowed two runs with one earned and three hits and a strikeout in two and two-thirds innings of work; hard-throwing Tyler Michalek pitched the remaining four and a third, allowing one run and four hits while sending down three. Milbert was credited with his first win of the season to improve to 1-2.

Trailing 8-0, Arcadia University scored 10 unanswered, including eight in the bottom of the eighth, to defeat Rutgers-Newark 10-8 in non-conference play at Skip Wilson Field on Tuesday afternoon. Rutgers-Newark scored four runs in the top of the first, three in the fourth, and one in the fifth. Jake Hendershot got the Knights on the board with a triple in the bottom of the fifth that scored Joshua Agriesti, coming around on a throwing error on the relay. Anthony Bruno had the big hit in the eight-run eighth, flipping a two-rbi single to right that plated Noah Stennett and Gabe Diaz to give the Knights their first lead. Sean Ahrens earned his first career win, tossing two scoreless innings of relief with two strikeouts. Gabe Marshall earned the save, retiring the side in order in the ninth.

Freshman pitcher Aaron LaRose tossed eight scoreless innings with seven strikeouts to power the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) to a 2-1 victory over the visiting New England College Pilgrims in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action Tuesday afternoon at the USJ Baseball Field in West Hartford, Conn. With the result, the Blue Jays improved to 10-7 overall on the season and 2-0 in GNAC play, while the Pilgrims dropped to 4-12 overall and 1-2 in the conference. O'Day was fantastic for the 'Grims, going seven innings with zero earned runs. Over the past two years, O'Day has held the Blue Jays to just two earned runs across 13 innings of work – good for a 1.38 ERA - with nine strikeouts. NEC outhit USJ, 7-5, with the costly seventh inning error making the biggest difference.

Jason Morgan hit a pair of home runs, and Marco Mannino posted a career-high five RBI, to lead #11 Rowan to a 12-0 win over Penn State Abington in eight innings. Righthander Zach Coluccio threw six scoreless innings to earn the victory as the Profs improve to 13-2. Morgan led off the game with a solo shot down the left field line, and then hit a two-run homer in the second inning, giving him three on the season. It marked the first time in his career that he has had two homers in one game, while he now has nine in his career. He's also the second Prof to hit two home runs in a game as Phil Sedalis also accomplished it in a win over Washington & Jefferson (March 13). Mannino went 2-for-4 at the plate while Nick Struble was 3-for-4 with RBI, also hitting his first home run of the season.

No. 7 Salve Regina University opened its NEWMAC slate on the road against Springfield College on Tuesday afternoon and rallied for an 8-6 victory against the Pride. The Seahawks (12-3, 1-0 NEWMAC) had trailed by a 5-1 score after four frames before scoring seven runs over the next three innings. Five different Seahawks had two hits apiece -- Tyler Petrosino, Shane Williams, Matt Stokes, Christian Homa, Brady Smolinski. Three Seahawk pitchers worked three innings apiece -- James Keating, James Tobin, Nick Callano. Tobin (W, 1-0) picked up his first win while striking out two. Callano (S, 1) pitched perfectly by retiring all nine batters he faced while striking out three. By the end of the game, the seven, eight, nine hitters in the Seahawk lineup wore #7 (Smolinski), #8 (Grover), and #9 (Schopps), respectively.

Graduate students Brant Savage and Tanner Santos both had two hits and combined to drive in six runs as No. 20 Babson College defeated visiting MIT, 9-5, in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference action on Tuesday afternoon at Govoni Field. With the win, Babson improves to 8-3 overall and is 1-0 in conference play. MIT, which had its three-game winning streak snapped, slips to 5-9 overall and 0-1 in the NEWMAC. Savage homered and drove in a season-high four runs, while Santos singled twice and had two RBI in support of graduate student Tristen Spalter, who improved to 2-1 after striking out three and allowing four runs over 7.0 innings for the Beavers. Graduate student Thomas Parisi, senior Justin Guest and sophomore Ryan Liss all doubled, and graduate student Jack Julian and senior Walter Sadowsky drove in a run. Graduate student Teddy Schoenfeld went 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI for MIT. The Beavers are 63-41-1 all-time against MIT and have won six of the last seven games between the teams.

Swarthmore College defeated Eastern University 17-9 on Tuesday afternoon, completing a season sweep of the Eagles. Zac Kahn and Max Roffwarg each hit a home run to lead the explosive Garnet offense. Kahn recorded four RBI and three runs on two hits, while Roffwarg scored twice and drove in three RBI. Seven different players contributed an RBI as the team totaled 17 hits. Peter Frometa earned his first career win with a scoreless fourth inning, while Michael Lewis recorded his first collegiate save, pitching three innings of relief.

Eighth-ranked Salisbury University eclipsed 15 runs for the third time this season on the way to grounding the Gwynedd Mercy Griffins 15-4 on Tuesday afternoon at Genuardi Legends Field. The Sea Gulls raced out to a five-run lead over the first two innings. In the first, Noah Burroughs and Danny Sheeler executed a double steal from the corners to allow Sheeler to swipe home. Trent Waire then opened up a four-run second with an RBI double that propelled SU to a 5-0 advantage. Salisbury tacked on two more in the fourth, highlighted by a Dylan Winebrenner home run, and two more in the sixth before the Griffins finally got one back in the home sixth to make it 9-1. After the Sea Gulls countered with one in the top of the seventh, GMU managed to push three runs across with two out in the bottom of the seventh, including a two-run single by Ricky Templeton that made it 10-4. SU shook it off and scraped one across in the eighth on a Jackson Inman RBI triple, then in the ninth Sheeler doubled home two, followed by a run-scoring wild pitch and a Winebrenner RBI knock to complete the four-spot, giving the Sea Gulls the 15-4 lead they would take into the clubhouse.

Westminster (Pa.) split a Presidents' Athletic Conference doubleheader at Grove City College's R. Jack Behringer Field Wednesday, holding on for an 11-9 game one victory before falling 12-4 in the nightcap. Sophomore right-hander Tyson Djakovich won his fourth-straight start this spring, giving up four runs (3 earned) on six hits with a walk and eight strikeouts in 6.2 innings. It was his second-straight start with eight strikeouts. Lyons was 3-for-5 with an RBI, a stolen base and three runs scored. It was his second three-hit game, and seventh multi-hit game, this season. Five-straight batters reached safely for the Wolverines to start the second game and the home team broke a 1-1 deadlock to go up 5-1 with their four-run frame. Up 5-3 after five-and-a-half innings, Grove City's offense exploded for six runs in the sixth, highlighted by Dan Luko's three-run home run.

No. 22 Gustavus settled for its third consecutive non-conference series split on Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran. The Gusties won game one 6-1 behind a dominant pitching performance by Adam Biewen, but the Vikings got revenge in game two with a walk off homer for a 10-9 decision. The Gusties move to 14-4 on the season. Danny Gavin wasted zero time putting the Gusties ahead, leading off the game with a homer over the left-center field fence - his second this season. Two batters later, Chris Knowles tripled to center and scored on an error. Gustavus added three insurance runs in the seventh with a two-out rally. Jackson Thielen pitched a scoreless seventh without allowing a hit. Knowles led at the plate, hitting 3-for-4 with two runs, two triples, and an RBI. The Gusties led game two 9-6 lead at the seventh inning stretch. The home team saved its best for last, starting a four-run rally with two outs and nobody on base. The rally started with a single, stolen base, and RBI double, followed by another RBI double, and capped with a walk-off two-run homer.

Settling after a two-run first inning, Tanner Royals ended up putting together an outstanding performance and later, Ryne Rodrigues hit a go-ahead two-run shot for the Guilford College (13-6, 3-5 ODAC) as they snapped their cold spell with an 8-5 victory over Ferrum College (12-10, 3-6 ODAC) at Panther Field on Tuesday afternoon. The sophomore right-hander set career-highs for innings pitched and strikeouts on the day, completing 7.0 frames with eight whiffs, allowing three runs, all earned, on seven hits and no walks. He picked up the win for the second-straight Tuesday to up his record to 2-0. Panthers starter Tyler Mason was okay, leaving with the lead although he would not have qualified for the victory anyways. He tossed the first 4.1 innings allowing two runs, one earned, on three hits, striking out two. It would be the litany of relievers that FC deployed that would be their undoing with Carter Liverman surrendering the advantage allowing two runs, both earned, on two hits across 0.2 innings to drop to 1-1.

Junior outfielder Jake Benedict kicked off a tremendous day at the plate with a solo home run in the bottom of the first and the Christopher Newport offense took off from there as the Captains outscored Southern Virginia, 17-4, over seven innings at Captains Park on Tuesday afternoon. Benedict reached base in all six plate appearances, scored four times and went 4-for-4 with a homer, triple, two singles, and a pair of walks. he leadoff man highlighted an offensive explosion for the Captains on Tuesday as Christopher Newport blasted four home runs and scored 17 runs on 15 hits against the Knights. In addition to Benedict's big day, Ayden Stuffel drove in a team-high six runs including a grand slam in the second inning that broke the game wide open; he finished the game 2-for-3 with a double and a homer. All nine starters crossed the plate at least once in the game as CNU improved to 14-10 with the victory while Southern Virginia falls to 5-13. Benedict led the way with four runs scored while his brother, Sam Benedict, was 2-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored, and Scott Crosson also scored three runs in a 2-for-3 effort at the plate.

No. 23 Keystone College saw its nine-game win streak snap as they fell to Marywood University 10-4 in their home opener Tuesday afternoon at Christy Mathewson Field. This is Marywood's first win over Keystone since March 2015, snapping a 10-game losing streak. Nick Gravel got the start in the game and went four innings with five strikeouts. He gave up two earned runs off four hits. Fisher Sheffield, Julian Gonzalez, Noah Parks, and Brandon Valles appeared in relief. Sheffield struck out three batters while Parks and Valles had one. The Pacers took the opening lead in the top of the first with an RBI single by Tristan Gatchalain. Keystone tied the game in the second with an inside the park home run by Greg Verano and took the lead an inning later with an RBI single by Nate Ewing. Marywood would gain significant momentum as they went on a 9-2 run for the rest of the contest, resulting in a Pacers victory. They added three runs in the seventh and ninth inning. Both teams had 11 hits in the contest.

Buena Vista finally got to play its first true home opener on Tuesday against Wartburg College and the Beavers were able to grind out a 6-4 victory over the Knights to remain perfect in American Rivers Conference play. The two teams combined to issue 22 walks and stranded a total of 24 runners overall with a total of 11 different pitchers being used. Wartburg broke a scoreless game in the fourth with a sacrifice fly to right field but stranded two runners in the inning. Buena Vista came right back in the bottom half and extended the lead to 5-1 in the sixth with a pair of bases loaded walks but left the bases loaded for the second time in the game. Wartburg (8-7, 2-2 A-R-C), which was held to only three hits in the game, closed the gap to 5-4 in the eighth by scoring another run on a wild pitch before BVU came right back in the bottom half as Struck came through in the clutch with a two-out RBI single on an 0-2 pitch that he lined the opposite way to left which made it 6-4. Pleggenkuhle came back out for his third inning of relief in the ninth and worked around a two-out walk with a pair of strikeouts in the inning en route to his third save of the year.

Lewis & Clark College overcame an early five-run deficit with timely hitting and strong relief pitching to defeat NAIA Bushnell University 7-5 on Tuesday night at Hamlin Park. Senior Justin Cavagnaro led the Pioneers offensively, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI. Sophomore Michael Aikawa added a 2-for-3 performance with a double and two runs scored, while senior Brennen Davis drove in two runs and scored another. Lewis & Clark used eight pitchers in the game, with sophomore Owen Eisen getting the start on the mound. He struck out three Beacons and allowed three runs on four hits in two innings. The Pioneers' bullpen was outstanding, as six relievers combined to shut out Bushnell over the final six innings. Sophomore Connor Broschard earned his first win of the season with a scoreless seventh inning that included two strikeouts. Fellow sophomore Bret Potter, who started the game in right field, moved to the mound in the ninth and worked around two singles to secure his second save of the season.

Roanoke College added another conference win to their résumé on Tuesday as they came from behind to take down Averett, 13-9. After surrendering five runs in the first inning, RC exchanged two runs with Averett in the second. The Maroons then had a 3-1 scoring edge in the third to make before adding a tally in the fourth to make the deficit just two runs. Roanoke was able to tie it at 8-8 in the seventh before the sides made it 9-9 in the eighth. RC took advantage of free bases in the ninth to go up 13-9 before Hayden Giordano shut down Averett in the bottom of the inning to secure the road win. Parker Stallard topped the squad offensively with three hits, two RBIs, and two runs. Stallard hit his third home run of the season in the third inning.

Bard College tied, 9-9, after eight frames in a matchup against Mt. St. Mary on Tuesday afternoon at Honey Field. The Raptors and the Knights combined for 13 hits on the day, with Xavier Webb (3) and Elias Grosfoguel (2) leading the way for Bard, each recording multiple hits. Jamie Fryer, Rob DeBello, and Spencer Azzara also contributed, each landing one hit. Mount Saint Mary regained the lead in the fourth inning, but this is when the tide shifted in Bard's favor. DeBello took a brutal hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded, bringing Azzara home. Then, capitalizing on two wild pitches, Gonzalez and Grosfoguel each stole home, putting the Raptors ahead 9-7 in the bottom of the fifth, with victory seeming within their grasp. As the sun began to set, signaling a potential stoppage due to fading light, the Knights managed to score two runs in the top of the eighth, tying the game at 9-9. The Raptors had a chance to win the game in the bottom of the eight but the Knight's defense held on. As the sun set the field became unplayable which resulted in a tie. This is the second time in Raptor's program history that the game is stopped due to weather.

Senior Liam Flynn hit his fourth home run of the season, as Nichols won in the bottom of the 10th inning. The Bison walked-off Framingham State University, 7-6 from the Nichols Baseball Field on Tuesday afternoon. In the bottom of the ninth, Nichols loaded the bases with two outs. Framingham State worked their way out of the jam and this game was headed for extra innings. In the 10th inning, senior Patrick Doyle faced four batters, and no runs allowed as Nichols got out of the jam. In the bottom of the 10th, with one out Flynn batted. He launched a home run to right field, as the catcher, helped the Bison walk-off against the Rams by a final of 7-6. Flynn finished the game batting 2-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored. Senior Karl Miller led the team with three RBI and three stolen bases. Junior Julian Galvan went 4-6 with an RBI and two runs scored

Millsaps improved to 17-6 on the season after taking down Belhaven, 7-3 in Game One of the Cowboy Maloney Series at Twenty Field on Tuesday. Graduate Jackson Ware had an outstanding performance as the Houston, Texas, native batted 3-for-5 with three RBIs. His hit and RBI totals were season highs. Senior Gray Berry (two runs, hit by pitch), senior Bradley Pelle (run, two walks), graduate Case Page (RBI, run), sixth year Branyan Bounds (RBI, run, two walks, two stolen bases) and junior JR Moore (run, double) each recorded a hit against the Blazers. Freshman Cam Cressend saw 2.2 innings pitched. The Mandeville, La., native struck out one batter while allowing two hits, no walks and one run. Junior Sam Thomas also dominated on top of the hill. He struck out four hitters in 3.1 innings pitched to earn his first collegiate win. Thomas only allowed three hits, two runs and a walk. Graduate Jackson Hood earned the save by shutting down the Blazers with four strikeouts in 2.0 hitless and scoreless innings.

Sophomore Shea McKenna had a 5-for-5 day with three RBIs and two runs scored to lead McDaniel College to a 15-5 win over Wilson on Tuesday from Preston Field. McKenna is the first player to record five hits in a game for the Green Terror (8-11-1) this season. He is the first player to do so since junior Ben Davis had five hits against Washington College on Apr. 23, 2024. McKenna got the scoring started in the first inning resulting in a 3-0 lead after one inning and reached 7-0 after two. A 1-2-3 inning for the Phoenix (3-12) gave way to another multi-run inning for McDaniel in the third and the Green Terror was on their way to a win. Wilson scored four runs in the ninth but the Green Terror closed the door to win 15-5.

Kalamazoo College defeated Augustana University 6-5 with a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth on Tuesday. Trailing 5-4 heading into the bottom of the ninth, Kalamazoo loaded the bases before hitting into a double play. With two outs and runners on second and third, Ryar Rinehart singled up the middle to drive home two runs for the win. Kalamazoo scored two runs in the bottom of the first and led 4-3 after five innings. Augustana scored two in the top of the seventh and held the 5-4 lead until the bottom of the ninth Hornet heroics. Kalamazoo finished with 13 hits in the game compared to nine by Augustana. Ryar Rinehart finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Cooper Mills also had three hits. Logan Lockhart, Caleb Moore and Tanner Hawkins each had two hits. All three had a double.

Hobart swept a doubleheader at McDonough Park for the second time in as many days today. The Statesmen defeated visiting Hilbert 7-5 and 11-6 to run their record to 11-4 overall. On a cold and blustery day, Hobart scored early and often in both games to extend its winning streak to four games. The Hawks pushed across a pair of first inning runs to take an early 2-0 lead. In the bottom half of the inning, the Statesmen scored on a Hilbert throwing error, a wild pitch and an RBI single by Nate Garrett. The visitors briefly reclaimed the lead with two more runs in the second, but Hobart answered with another three-run at-bat. This time, the Statesmen scored on a Hilbert error, a passed ball, and a wild pitch. Garrett had another RBI single in the third inning, extending Hobart's lead to 7-4. Pitchers Jake Schulte, Charlie Forrest and Nicholas Franceschi limited the Hawks to just a single run over the last five innings. Schulte earned the win, striking out three while allowing four hits and one run over three innings. Franceschi pitched a 1-2-3 seventh to earn his second save of the season. Hobart starter Cole Tarrant struck out six in four innings of work, allowing two runs on the way to his second win of the season. The Statesmen bullpen added five more strikeouts, matching Hobart's season-high for strikeouts (11 in 11 innings vs. Gwynedd Mercy). The Statesmen never trailed in the nightcap, scoring six runs in the first inning. Jack Byrnes delivered the big blow with a three-run double. By the end of the third, the lead had grown to 10-1. Hilbert (8-9) didn't give up the fight, but the Hawks couldn't muster enough runs to wipe out Hobart's early lead.
