- Adrian opened the season 5-5 but since that time, the Bulldogs have only three losses in the last 34 games they have played heading into the 2021 D-III World Series.
- Adrian was last in the D-III World Series in 2008 where they finished 2-2 in head coach Craig Rainey's 15th season. Adrian finished 6th in the national polls that year.
- "We have a unique blend of speed and power that should help us offensively," said Rainey at the beginning of the season. He was right as the 2021 squad demonstrated their speed and power this year. The Bulldogs stole 60 bases (85th in the nation) with 21 triples (9th in the nation). They also hit 32 home runs, good for 47th in the nation.
