Josh Tower came into Cedar Rapids in a deep slump and had a fairly pedestrian set of numbers early on in bracket play at the 2022 Division III World Series. He exploded with a 5-for-5 performance, three runs scored and five driven in in Eastern Connecticut's win against Salisbury in Game 1 of the Division III Championship Series.
