We will be saying good-bye to two more teams after the early elimination games and maybe two more if the 2-0 teams from Saturday win their bracket championship games.

Marietta was eliminated by UW-Stevens Point 6-4 in the first game on Sunday. Caleb Krommenakker allowed six hits in 5.2 innings and kept a potent Marietta offense off balance. Austin Syvertson pitched the final 3.1 innings to earn the win. UW-Stevens Point has earned a date with Salisbury in game eleven.

LaGrange defeated Trinity (Texas) 15-3 on the final game to be held on Sunday. Ethan Fry pitched 6.1 innings to earn the win and the offense racked up 15 runs on 17 hits. They were walked 12 times by the Trinity pitching staff.

Salisbury will play UW Stevens Point at 10 a.m. CT on Monday with Eastern Connecticut taking on LaGrange 50 minutes following the end of the first game. If UW-Stevens Point or LaGrange win, a second championship game will follow the first two scheduled games.
