We will be saying good-bye to two teams after today with just two teams holding all the cards with two wins under their belts and one more win needed to advance to the Championship Series.

Catholic jumped out to a big lead after three innings in its elimination game with UW-Stevens Point, but the Pointers scored the next 10 runs and went on to defeat the Cardinals 12-8. Stevens Point closer Sidney Ferry came on in the third inning and never left, throwing six and one-third innings to get the win.

Marietta and Salisbury followed with an epic battle, with the defending champions' bullpen throwing seven shutout innings to hold Marietta in check until the Sea Gulls scored twice in the 11th to win, 7-5.

Trinity rallied from a 4-0 deficit to win and eliminate Baldwin Wallace 6-5. And the late game became truly late, as LaGrange plays Eastern Connecticut starting at 11:05 p.m. CT in the Bracket 2 winners finale.

Eastern Connecticut opened their game with LaGrange with a 3-0 lead with Zach Donahue providing the big hit, a one out triple that scored two runs. Donahue also scored for Warriors in the inning. The Warriors added some insurance and need it the extra run as they defeated a determined Panther team 4-3.

Tarpcon is set at 4.
