Shawn Steuerer established his presence with a loud bang or three in the Blue Jays' first three games at the tournament and took on an even more important role when Alex Shane was injured and lost for the rest of the postseason. He also reached once on a hit by pitch and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. Steuerer drove in a tournament-best 14 runs and played error-free at third base as well.
