Jack Olver is one of two hitters on the UW-La Crosse team to have 50+ RBIs and 10+ home runs. He led the Eagles in runs and doubles this season.

LHP Caleb Matl

Caleb Matl leads UWL with six saves this year. His six saves is tied for seventh in single-season school history.

Scouting report

  • The UW-La Crosse Eagles will be making their third trip to the D-III World Series. Before this year they appreared in 2015 and 2016. In the 2015 World Series, they reached  the D3 Championship Series, finished second in the nation behind Cortland.
  • Eagles head coach Chris Schwarz has led UWL to a 36-11 record this season. The 36 wins are tied for second-most in single-season school history. 
  • UW-La Crosse has recorded double-digit hits in 33 of 47 contests this season, including in ten of the last twelve.
