Royals Drop 16-8 Decision To The College of Wooster To Open Spring Break Trip Tuesday

FT. MYERS, Fla.—The University of Scranton dropped a 16-8 decision to The College of Wooster in the first of a 9-game Spring Break trip Tuesday afternoon.

The Royals had a two-game winning streak snapped and fell to 5-3 on the season. 

Junior Jesse Outhouse (Croton Falls, N.Y./North Salem) hit his second home run of the season, senior Jeff Manahan (Morris Plains, N.J./Morristown) finished with two hits and an RBI, junior Matt Rayha (Willow Street, Pa./Penn Manor) had a double and scored twice, and sophomore Michael Gaeta (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) drove in two runs for Scranton.

The Royals will return to action tomorrow morning against Luther College in a 7-inning doubleheader beginning at 10:00 a.m.
