Hendley then singled to get his first RBI of the day. Lawson followed up with a double for two more runs batted in. Before the inning ended, catcher Casey Woodside (Albert Lea, Minn./MN-Crookston) singled to advance Lawson home.

The following inning the Vikings scored another six runs. Presentation's pitcher walked four batters in a row at to allow Bethany Lutheran to score. Hendley then singled to left field for two RBI. A pitching change came for the Saints, but later with the bases loaded Travis Fisher (Cedar, Minn. / St. Francis) hit a hard one to left field to record a double and clear the bases for three RBIs.
