Hartford, Conn. – Sophomore OF Alex Almeida (Bridgeport, Conn.) went 3-for-4 with a double and junior C Luke Auger (Avon, Conn.) was 2-for-3 with three runs, a double, a homer, and four RBI to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 13-0 win against the visiting Albertus Magnus College Falcons in baseball action this afternoon. Trinity improves to 13-5 overall with its fourth straight victory and its fifth straight game scoring double-digit runs, while the Falcons drop to 3-11 with their fifth consecutive loss. Five pitchers combined on a four-hitter with eight strikeouts and one walk for Trinity. Freshmen Patrick Dornfried (Berlin, Conn.) and Zak Sokolis (Meriden, Conn.) each doubled for Albertus Magnus.
