Lakeland, FL: The Ramapo College baseball team pounded out 14 hits as they shutout Albright College, 13-0 to remain undefeated at 7-0.

Travis Zilg (2-0) picked up the win on the mound as he scattered five hits over seven innings of work, while striking out ten without walking a batter. Ramapo scored one run in the third inning to take a 1-0 lead before they erupted for five runs in the fourth inning. Ramapo tallied four hits as they took a 6-0 lead highlighted by run scoring singles by Christian Spurr and Nick Romano.

Ramapo tacked on two more runs in the fifth inning during a two out rally. Nicholas DiGirolamo scored on an error before Kevin Knox singled to center field, knocking in Lee Rozins. They scored three more runs in the eighth inning on two hits and one Albright error to take a 11-0 lead before scoring the final two runs of the game in the ninth inning, 13-0. Thomas Portsey ripped a single to left field picking up two RBI as Kyle Doerr and Robert Ghiretti scored.

The Roadrunners are back in action tomorrow in a double header against Rhode Island College at 1:30 PM.
