Mary Washington was kept off the scoreboard until the sixth when Herringshaw grounded out and drove home Eric Rehbein to tie things up at one.

CUA's Trevor Falk led the eighth off by reaching on an error and then moved down to second on a stolen base.  The next three Cardinals struck out though, leaving the score knotted at one.

Herringshaw led the ninth off with a single and then stole second to move into scoring position.  Following a ground out Rudman stepped in.  He responded with a single and the Eagles walked off winners.
