NEW CASTLE, Pa. - The Westminster College baseball team could not solve Grove City starting pitcher Kyle Silk in the Titans' 5-0 loss in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game held Friday at the Neshannock High School in New Castle. The Titans could only muster two hits as their record fell to 22-12 overall and 9-9 in PAC games. Grove City improved to 19-14 and 13-6 in league action.

Silk (5-2) worked the full nine innings with no walks and 10 strikeouts for the two-hit, shutout win.

Westminster junior starting pitcher Justin Prejsnar took the loss (5-3) with a line that read: eight innings, six hits, five runs (3 earned), six walks and two strikeouts.

Marcus Magister's RBI single in the first inning was all the offense Grove City needed in the game. Butch Kriger also hit a two-run double to cap off Grove City's three-run fourth inning that gave the Wolverines a 4-0 lead.

Senior Rick DeBlasio singled in the first and junior David Schafer singled in the eight for Westminster's only two hits.
