GREENSBORO, N.C. – Justin Pittman had two hits and two RBI in Guilford College's 7-4 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) baseball win over Eastern Mennonite University Saturday.

Saturday's second game of the league doubleheader was postponed until Sunday (3/25) at 1:00 p.m. at Guilford's McBane Field.

The Quakers (13-12, 3-4 ODAC) erased a 3-1 deficit and snapped a three-game losing skid. Pittman hit a game-tying two-run double in Guilford's four-run seventh. He later scored on Dan Ditota's two-out, bunt single that opened a 5-3 Quakers' edge. Ben Anderson's (Kernersville, N.C./East Forsyth) sacrifice fly scored Zach Montalbano and broke a 3-3 tie.

Eastern Mennonite (7-17, 1-7 ODAC) made it a 5-4 game when Justin Rodriguez led off the eighth inning with his season homer of the game. Guilford starter Will James (2-3) gave way to Chad Wagoner, who pitched a scoreless eighth. Ryan Lindsay threw a perfect ninth inning for his first college save.

Pittman and Ditota both paced Guilford with two hits. Montalbano extended his hitting streak to 10 games and John Macon Smith doubled and scored in the sixth, extending his hitting streak to nine.

James notched his first win in over a month. He scattered a season-high 12 hits, gave up four runs, struck out two and did not walk a batter.

Eastern Mennonite's Rodriguez was two-for-four with a game-high three RBI. Chris Rodriguez had a game-high four hits out of the leadoff spot. Dylan Smith and Michael Wade also had two hits as part of the Royals' 13-hit performance. Daniel Stanley (1-2) fanned five in six innings, but also yielded nine hits and five runs in six-plus innings.
