TIFFIN, Ohio—Senior shortstop Ricardo Lizcano (Toledo/Start) set the Heidelberg University career home run record today with a three-run blast in the fifth inning of the second game of an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader, but the Student Princes were swept by Muskingum University, 5-1 and 14-7, at Peaceful Valley in Tiffin, Ohio. The homer was the 32nd of his career.

Muskingum broke a scoreless tie in the first game with two runs in the top of the fourth inning and rallied for three runs in the sixth.

A sacrifice fly by Lizcano in the fifth scored junior catcher Jordan Martin (Powell/Olentangy) and avoided the shutout.

The Student Princes put two runners on in the seventh, but a double play thwarted the scoring threat.

Junior right hander Tyler Fruhwirth (Beavercreek) worked through 5.2 innings, allowing all five runs on six hits while striking out five and walking three. Fruhwirth suffered the loss to fall to 4-2. Senior right hander Daniel Brannum (Jamestown/Greeneview) pitched the last 1.1 innings.
