ALBION (Mich.) -- The Ohio Northern baseball team struck for seven runs in the 10th inning with two men out, to post a 13-6 victory over Albion (Mich.) on Tuesday afternoon at Frank Joranko Field.

The win improves the Polar Bears to 7-6 on the season, while the Britons fall to 6-7.

The second game was cancelled due to the length of the first game.

All 10 Polar Bears to appear in the game reached base and nine registered hits.

Senior Devin Kisor put ONU on top in the 10th, with a single that scored freshman Reed Allen.

After a walk, sophomore Jack LaMarca singled to center, scoring freshman Nick Eltzroth and Kisor to put Northern up 9-6.

After a hit batter, sophomore Dan Belliveau reached on a fielder's choice and Cory Martin followed with a two run single, expanding the Polar Bears lead to 12-6.

Allen would then single, scoring Belliveau to put ONU up 13-6.

Junior Matt Magni picked up his first win of the season, by pitching four innings in relief and giving up just two runs.

Gunnar Ownens took the loss for the Britons and falls to 0-2.

Eltzroth paced ONU offensively, going 2-for-5 and driving in two.

The Polar Bears struck first on a RBI groundout by Martin in the first inning.

The Britons would answer back and score runs in the first, third and fourth to jump on top 3-1.

Northern struck for four runs in the fifth to take the lead back, 5-3.

Freshman Cody Meyer scored on a wild pitch and freshman Grant Wilson reached on an error, scoring Belliveau.

Eltzroth would then single through the right side to score two more runs.

The Britons would add a run in the sixth inning, but ONU responded with a run in the seventh to push its lead back to 6-4.

Albion tied it in the seventh, with back-to-back RBI singles.

Ohio Northern will play again on Friday, when it welcomes No. 5-ranked Marietta to Wander Field for a double header, beginning at 1 pm.
