Baruch Suffers One-Run Loss to Farmingdale State (4-3)

The Baruch College Bearcats suffered their fifth consecutive defeat, 4-3, in a home game against Farmingdale State on Thursday afternoon at Kingsborough Community College Baseball Field in Brooklyn.

The loss drops the team to 14-15, while the Rams improve to 25-10.


Angel Tejedamanaged to get the Bearcats on the scoreboard first with an RBI single in the fourth inning.

The visiting Rams took over the lead with three runs in the fourth inning and one more in the sixth for the 4-1 advantage.

The Bearcats tried to rally with an
Eric UlinoRBI single in the seventh inning and a John YuksekolRBI single in the eight to get as close as 4-3.

Unfortunately, they could not score again as the visiting Rams, one of the top ranked teams in the region, walked away with the 4-3 victory.

Baruch will return to action on Friday with a 3:30 pm game at St. Joseph's College of Patch
