DOVER, DE (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Wesley College scored once in the bottom of the eighth and again in the bottom of the ninth and edged New Jersey City University, 3-2, in the 2014 Gothic Knight baseball opener on March 2. In game two—a neutral-site contest hosted by Wesley—SUNY Oswego plated a pair of runs in the fifth and sixth frames and held off NJCU, 4-2, in a game called after seven innings due to rain and impending blizzard conditions.
