The Quakers used a consistent offensive effort throughout the game to widen their margin. Guilford scored in six of nine innings and jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three and a half innings. Emory & Henry countered with two runs over the next three frames before the Quakers finished the game by scoring six unanswered runs over the final three stanzas.

Corey Wallace increased his team-leading RBI total to 48 with two RBI on the afternoon. After finishing the afternoon 4-for-5 with a RBI-double, Wallace's RBI total stands second in the ODAC.

Danny Ditota finished the afternoon 3-for-5 with two RBI.  Ditota's two RBI came in the top of the eighth inning, knocking a two-RBI single to left field.

Herc Ingels finished 2-for-4 with two RBI, bringing home a run on a RBI-single in the top of the fourth inning.  The center fielder used a sacrifice fly to add the second Quaker run in the top of the seventh frame.

John Macon Smith went 2-for-5 to extend his hitting streak to 13 games.  Smith capped his afternoon with a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning, his sixth of the season.

Jacob Roberts added two RBI with a RBI-double in the top of the fourth inning and a sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh.  Roberts finished the afternoon 2-for-4.

Connor Bronson represented one of the Wasps' two RBI on the afternoon, driving in a run on a ground out in the bottom of the fourth inning.  D.J. Russ added the remaining Wasp RBI with a one-out single in the bottom of the sixth inning.

John Todd (2-1) picked up the win for the Quakers, throwing six and one-third innings while scattering two runs on six hits.  Andrew Martin relived Todd in the seventh inning, throwing one and two-thirds innings, fanning two batters and surrendering just one hit.  Avery Rogers threw the final inning, giving up just one hit and striking out one batter.

The Quakers (18-18, 8-9 ODAC) return to the diamond Wednesday, traveling to Lynchburg College for a 3 p.m. ODAC contest.
