After having six games postponed by cold and snowy weather, the baseball team was finally able to throw their first pitch down in Fort Myers, Florida at the Gene Cusic Classic.
The games are the first ones truly outdoors, as the team has spent a majority of their time practicing indoors, due to the cold and snowy weather in New York.
Unfortunately, the Bearcats have suffered losses in each of their first three games against Alvernia (12-4), Mitchell (14-7) and John Carroll (12-2).
Jasdeep Buttar(7-for-14) and Nicholas LaForgia(4-for-8) have been the team's top hitters in the first three games by batting .500 each. LaForgia and Ardian Selmanilead the team with three RBI each.
The Bearcats will look to bounce back Friday morning as they play Otterbein of Ohio at 9:00 am. Please note this game features live stats.
